Especially notable on Normandy campaign but have also seen it on others, there are many locations that simply aren’t defendable because they can be captured from OUTSIDE the area itself. The bunker on airfield map is a good example. Trying to hold this location is an absolute nightmare because the attackers can capture it without even needing to step foot inside. They can stand nearby outside, jump on top of it, there’s even a ladder on the exterior facing the ATTACKER’s side.
Defense in these locations are hard enough, especially with Phosphorus gas being a thing. Attackers can gas defenders and not even have to push into bunker to capture it.
PLEASE adjust this. It’s one thing if the capture area is a courtyard or something, but if the capture location is a building, make the boundaries WITHIN the building!
while i agree i’d also love bigger objectives. otherwise it’s just killbox. it’d be awesome if we could have sectors kinda thing, so objectives would be big enough to space things out but same time you would need to occupy multiple sectors to prevent stacking. Imo meatgrinder would be reduced which i am on board with.
That’s not even possible in the current setting from our experience. Our teammates help none at all, so we are constantly stuck having to fight within the point, those coming up to the point, and those firing from afar/ aircraft all at once.
There is no delay between objectives, so while we are trying to pull back to the next one, they are already there, and what’s more is we don’t even have time to get rally points up. Leading to the whole issue starting over again.
