Fix smoke grenades

Sometime in the not too distant pass, all of a sudden something weird happened to smoke grenades. Now when you throw them they hit the ground and then fly off along the ground like they were a firework! ending up far away from where you wanted it :frowning:

anyone else notice it?

No one is using smoke grenades because their smoke is very small and don’t provide enough cover.
Grenades in general tend to be bugged and fall out of the world and similar features.
So, fix both?

i notice this factor with paratroopers boxes too.

those tend to actually fall through the ground :joy:

I use smoke grenades and if used properly they are very effective. A little buff wouldn’t hurt them

Same, have smoke grenades on all my engineers etc.

Always covers my assault/let me get where I want easier and I imagine it saves a lot of my squad members in the long run.

Wouldn’t mind a buff however.

I use smoke grenades. He recently saved my engineer’s life. I built an anti-tank gun and an enemy tank drove out from behind the house and almost the entire team died except for one engineer.
And since I threw smoke grenades at the tank, it gave me the opportunity to destroy the opponent.

Smoke grenades are not weak, you just need to know how to use them.
In the open field, a minimum of two or three should be used.
The only downside is their short operating time.

So that is why I couldn’t find it, I lost it from sight for a moment and never seen it ever again :joy:

I use smoke grenades. They disorientate people some times on close quarters as well as providing cover

I only use smoke grenades with my flame troopers. I just spam them on a point before moving in. Sometimes it works, others it doesnt

I used to use smoke but I basically stopped because of their small range. They are big enough to cover a small holway and that’s about it.
Nowdays I use them only vs tanks with mixed results.

GUYS!

This ISNT a post about the effectiveness of smoke grenades or whether they need a buff.

This about the weird physics behavior of them hitting the ground and then shooting off along the ground a ridiculus distance

And this is not a place to report bugs.

you Satan. It’s sneaky and unworthy. How can you so vilely attack defenseless weak players.

I would say so, but it’s a good tactic. It’s just easier to climb mines in smoke :pogchamp:

I’ve got smoke on the flamethrowers too. I also have a few minutes. I have a radio operator in one and an engineer in the other to complement each other.
