Fix Semi Automatics

Huh Interesting.

I think Semi - Autos do plenty of damage … however I think they should have less bullet damage dropoff. This would make them more reliable.

no, .30 carbine is more close in size to 7.92 kurz than a pistol round

Bit of a myth that this round doesnt fuck someone up

30 carbine is in a weird place. Its more than a standard pistol, but its not a full power, but its also less than what you would think an intermediate round … its more comparable to a .357 Magnum nowadays, imo.

Agree if considering invidual weapons

Imo from progression point of view the SA feels bit lacking.

So yes accuracy buff definitely and perhaps some ROF buff as the old ROF nerf they got serves no purpose anymore as BA’s are all OHK.
Obviously depending how much more ROF SA’s would get they could increase the recoil / recoil direction so they wouldnt just turn into small mag AA cannons.

But imo definitely need more ROF to make more distinctive differency with BA / SA.
Generally SA’s being more competive in higher BR’s wouldnt hurt.

I think SF’s in end of progression tree is “fine” ba → SA → SF
How ever, some serious recoil nerf for SF’s would be fine as currently those lazorbeams of death and sorrow seems to overshadow every gun in the game.

I still don’t understand why they made it a round nose bullet

I feel like the M2 could deserve some love especially since T20 is now a thing - maybe turn it into a weapon for Assaulters at BR4? … or …I Don’t know, I just wish it played more like STGs and Fedorov instead of being a SMG for Troopers.

.30 Carbine’s just been done dirty all round. The M1 Carbine should get its RoF uncapped and a small damage buff. It’s practically a, admittedly outdated since it’s not a spitzer, really early intermediate cartridge. The M2 should be somewhat comparable to the StG. As is they’re just both small full auto’s chambered in a less than full power more than pistol cartridge

By that same logic the MG-34 should do 25.4 damage just like the kar98k
I don’t think that’ll be very balanced

You changed your profile pic. Almost didn’t recognize you

If the machineguns were made to be sluggish to control and require set up (at lest for comfortable shooting), and only then the ‘life mower’ power truly begins to shine, I don’t think it would be that imbalanced.
SMGs should still remain the go-to choice for control-ability and objective storming situations, but if one has a good spot to set up a machinegun, one should be able to shred anything not armored as long as ammunition count allows.
