Fix M1 Carbine

The M1 Carbine has an artificially nerfed RoF

What? It’s a semi-automatic. It fires as fast as you can click…

Not really. Most of the time it’s fine but many can click faster. Even I can in the right situation.

When I googled the M1 Carbine ROF, Google says 60-70 rounds per minute, and 750 ROF for the M2 Carbine. However, I think the M1 as it is has too low hitting power, so if DF ever decreased the ROF they would need to significantly increase the hitting power IMOP.

Too bad DF did not start off with the premise that ALL their weapons would have accurate stats, then no one could complain as what the gun shot is what it shoots in the game.

Well I can unload a mag in about 5-6 seconds. Dunno about you.

Nope. All semis have capped rof. The most common caps are either ±350 or ±480.

You can look it up in stats.

I’ll be 61 next month and my fingers don’t click as fast as they used to. How bout seniors get modified semi auto’s with a higher fire rate…You know, for our declining physical and mental skills. :yum:

Tbh I don’t think you can click faster than 6-8 TIMES PER SECOND without tool assists…

In the case of the M1 Carbine and VG1-5 which are limited to 5 rounds per second or even some japanese rifles limited 4.5 rounds per second, you can Really see the difference.

Hell best way to see that is comparing the M2 Carbine and M1 Carbine with both weapons set to Sem-auto, personnaly I can assure you that the difference in max rof when clicking as fast as possible on my mouse is huge
