At the moment it makes no sense for Moroccans to be in Burma… however you can and It looks silly. Being able to use premium squads in various theaters is nice but sometimes it doesn’t make sense historically. The squad uses American cosmetics in Battle of the Bulge (with a turban by default) but not for Burma and Normandy. You can’t equip uniforms that are correct for the Burma/Pacific campaign and Normandy.
Fix customization for the Berthier M16 Carbine squad ergo add USA or Commonwealth customization for Burma/Pacific and Normandy on the squad.

They could have ether commonwealth or American cosmetics Commonwealth probably makes more sense to be honest but seeing as Moroccans didn’t fight in Burma that doesn’t matter too much. Another thing is using the Berthier M16 Carbine outside of Tunisia & North Africa doesn’t make much sense ether but that’s another can of worms.

Commonwealth indeed makes the most sense. In game Burma might be flooded with US Marines, but historically no such forces participates - really only small small numbers of special forces participated in terms of American servicemen.
Could be nice to counteract that a little.

That’s a good/better reason than what I was thinking about the fact Moroccans wore British uniforms under their cultural attire.

In general Free French forces used;
Now, the Free French didn’t participate in either the Pacific or Burma in terms of ground forces as they did in Europe - but if they did they’d almost certainly be in British uniforms because this campaign is generally set much earlier in the war compared to Normandy or the Bulge.
Indeed, in theory the Burma campaign could be cronologically the earliest “campaign” in the game - beating Moscow by a month or so depending on counting method. Pacific maps is also generally earlier than Normandy, because we do have any late war pacific battle sites.
If we ever get a Italian campaign, Free French forces should still primarily use British gear there too.
