This isn’t the only map this happens on where the enemy has direct line of sight to your spawn. I don’t know how garbage you have to be at map design to think this is okay but it needs to be fixed.

There is a spawn protection now for regular points to avoid this unless its a bug.
Yes but spawn protection does not help much if you spawn in vision of the entire enemy team and they are all shooting at you and can follow you all the way where you find “cover” and then get shot there.
like I said, pic in the OP is our “protected” spawn.
Spawn protection or not, having your spawn be in direct line of sight of the enemy is stupid map design.
Same map but conquest. soviet player built a flak gun and was able to shoot it into our spawn.

the sheer amount of cheesy shitty griefing you can do is astounding. Can’t imagine how many players dipped their toes in, got spawn raped and then uninstalled.
And the germans can not make a flak gun. I understood why the Americans could not on D-DAY some what but come on. I also spawned into being blown up more then once. I think the best plan is to randomize the spawn points more.
setting the attackers back further across the board would allow more positions and preparation. instead of spawning in and immediately getting shot.
It’s also present in some normandy maps, I don’t know how it looks like in moscow now.
Generally spawncamping is a big problem that for a quite a while was overshadowed by other big problems.
Ngl earlier today i was in that same map in a T-34 and my team had just lost an objective. I started shooting all the germans around me and behind me, but some weren’t dying. I then realized i was in their spawn due to no fault of my own. I hadn’t even moved up in the last 5 minutes yet they were popping into existence all around me.
