During the Soviet-Finish war of 1940 here we can see that the soviet army captured a light tank. It looks alot like a Renault French tank from world war 1. It’s not very powerfull. But let’s add it to BR1 and see what happens. Which side would use it? Finnland is part of Axis but we’ve not seen much Finish presence there.

There are better Finnish tanks than renault. Renault was already obsolete in winter war and they were turned into static pillboxes in mannerheim line or training vehicles

Vickers E with 37mm cannon. Finland purchased these from britain without guns so they could add their own 37mm cannons to save money. I would like to see this for germany so it would be kinda like german t26. It exists in warthunder so devs wouldnt have to make new 3d model unlike renault ft

One should not under-estimate the obselete equipment. If you have a MG on a tank, you can really dig it into a corner and eliminate many infrantry especially if you find a cozy angle. These are known as black spots where it’s hard to find an objects because of obstructions
It’s not like other tanks don’t have mg. Why can’t I just bring a tank with cannon and mg so I will do the job much better than this obsolete stuff.

Excactly. Tanks that perform objectively worse than starter tanks (panzer 2c, t60 etc) should not be even considered. I would hate to see someone wasting my teams tank slot to bring this slow, weakly armoured, small crew and poorly armed coffin. Even in pure br 1 lobby it would suck
I think Renault FTs would be a good early unlock for tanks and they could enter the USSR, Germany and Japan as well in one form or another since they were spread all over the world and still kept operational for many small armies. It’s deadly enough to be a threat to infantry, yet easy enough to be disabled with AT rifles as well.
