Finally figured out how to invest silver orders before the merge, sort of

If one owns the Pacific & or Stalingrad DLC (I forget the names of them), it would be best to purchase a quantity of high campaign level soldiers and weapons so as to get the upgrades for free.

Example:
At least 3 level 2 Machine-gunners, for each side to be able to fill a squad with them if you later choose to do so along with at least 3 MG that you wish to use as you get 1 MG for free.
Same for medics, assaulters or any other class you wish to have free upgrades for.

At least, that is how I will be investing my silver orders instead of buying more mp-717(r). I have 40 of them…

Wait, are we losing orders after the merge? I thought the merge is supposed to launch as a separate server beta test so I assumed the currency would be unimpacted until they decide what direction to officially head. (The lack of official communication on what exactly is happening with this big change is really frustrating)

No, they will be converted to the new silver currency. And yeah there will be a test server before it launches officially, so once it happens you can better decide how to spend your orders if you’d like to do so.

Oh okay cool. Is there a main resource for these details? I’ve tried to find consolidated information but instead just find pieces here and there. Maybe I’m missing something.

Me with 150 of them :skull_and_crossbones:

but you will only be able to use 24/32 of them with the merge and having 5/6 squads with assaulters

Tankers, pilots, medics :+1:t3: Definitely more than enough though. Or I could use none lmao

Main take away is that the a couple weapons and tanks are yoinked from stalingrad and that the free boosted levels of soldiers and said vehicles, and weapons are also getting yoinked.

But where is this take away info coming from? I can find zero information from Gaijin about it, just forum threads started by players.

Don’t forget that you can get all pistols in Stalingrad for only 1 silver weapon order.

I’ll dig around for some modest info, most of which is in the “enlisted news” but has to be manually searched for which sucks:
Probably the most important one: News for Battle of Stalingrad participants - News - Enlisted

Thanks for the links, I’ll check them out!

I see you :+1:t3: considering they’ll probably release more squads and most other squads now can take assaulters too, it’s just good planning.
