They are already very good guns, no further buffs needed
All guns with automatic and semi-automatic firing modes should have their default firing mode set to automatic.

They are semi-auto only.
And yes, all select fire weapons should start at full auto (or burst if that’s the only firing mode they’re capable of)

This means that the AI will get full auto spam over the AVT-40 and M2 carbine. I do not think it is a good idea.
But full auto spam is great!

i’m always pressing h->y and repeat till my entire squad is full auto so nothing would change, anyway snipers and lmg bots are way more op than any AVTs, M2s or Fgs that is set to full auto

Yes, and increase the magazine too, maybe even put it as an assault weapon alongside the M2 carbine and SVT-40
Edit: I spoke in irony, but it seems that the purpose of this topic is precisely that, unless it is very complicated to learn how to change the shooting mode of a weapon
The amount of time it takes to change the firing pattern makes a big difference in the heat of battle
Just a reminder that the FG 42 starting in semi auto is actually “wastedwoodsmans” fault.
It is time to remove this ancient pseudo nerf.
