  1. Make it a rider vehicle
    while it’s a neat vehicle, being marked as a tank ( when it’s just a literal car ) is highly ineffective.
    Sure, it’s br I.
    but i’d argue could be much more worthed if i’d be like the soviet anti tank bike.
    And especially, the ability to use specialists from the riders class.

the support was rather overwhelming too:

  1. Change the engine sound
    the 221 has a rear-mounted 3.5-liter Horch V8 petrol engine .
    Yet sounds like every other tank in the game that is german.
    Closes there is with such an engine, would be the Opel Olympia that is a map vehicle.

  2. did i say make this vehicle a rider already?

  3. The vehicle is missing a license plate.
    One similar to the sdkfz 6 would do even if " damaged ":

  5. The driver cannot be killed with fire arms if you are on the roof.
    Unlike the M8 Scott, The Gun Hitboxes are bigger than they should be.
    Preventing the enemy from being able to kill the driver when they are on top.

  7. The Gunner is unable to return fire or even be able to use the binoculars despite cleary there being space:

  8. The Crew is wearing tank crew uniforms.
    but in real life those were assigned to panzer greandiers and reconissance groups.

… which could be fixed by simply giving it to riders.

  1. It takes too many seconds to get ouf of this car. almost as if it’s an IS 2… despite being a car.

i know… first world problem.

but still.
the intent is to make it better and interestring.

instead of "letting it be " resulting in this vehicle being one of many that takes dust in everyone’s garage.

Not only a low effort post but a duplicate one at that… for some reason you think the rules don’t apply to you.

Not one but two… this post also has multiple intentions… and you mentioned make it a rider vehicle three times to clutter your points… i’m assuming in an effort to make it look more prominent?

However despite my disagreement with this initially, i think this is the only way to make it usable… but BR1 tanks aren’t all that great anyway… and from what i’ve seen this 20mm seems to have decent penetration… combined with it being a scout car… it’s not the same as ptrs bike.

Well a proper rider class would have bikes in BR1 and scout cars and light tanks at higher BRs.

That being said, riders biggest issue is squad size, some vehicles could allow for 4 - 5 man crews, but adding the right ones will not be easy.

I think whenever they inevitably expand on this class then that’s the time where this vehicle can get moved to it

Sorry, but no, Enlisted lacks equipment, and I wouldn’t mind getting a vehicle identical to the 221 but better.

I understand that “this is not a tank but a car so put it in the rider slot” but since this car is also not a motorbike, I vote no.
Because otherwise you might be facing an enemy team with 2 tanks + this thing, a bit too much maybe.

BTW what about other armoured cars like he AB41 and the Daimler, should they then also not be in a bike slot?

The car is useless in the framework of the game
There is no damage, the penetration for 1br is excessive
There are no high-explosive shells that actually existed, but were not added to the game, because the stupid cntrc-cntrv

If the developer continues to do this for big events (and not small comic ones like the liberation of Rome), then it’s a shame.
The game is going into such a huge hole

I really don’t care whether it’s classified as a tank or a rider vehicle. It doesn’t change the fact that it’s a weak vehicle that doesn’t work well in this game.
And it’s going to be played only by a very small amount of individuals who are spending way too much time in this game, so they’re willing to play even the most pointless content (I’m one of them, by the way).

But we should at least have gotten it with its own event squad.


Things like this never cease to amaze me. It’s as if, with every new update, they’re paying less and less attention to the details that you notice after just half a minute of playing.

They’re just totally careless about the game at this point. They really can’t be more bothered.

Hm hm, I wonder what would happen when we give these armored scout cars the ability to capture objectives… or we let them call in artillery strikes.

i suppose humor isn’t for everyone.

while they are not the same thing 1 on 1,

they could coexist in what they do.

imo this could be the starter and an improvement that rider needed in order to be more appeasing to more people.

Which i’d recon it’s rather balanced.

because, while it has armor you’re trading it for a 3rd specialist member since it’s a 2 seater.

it’s kinda asymmetrical balanced.

and from what i saw day 1, the gunner is a goner.

so imo, moving outside the tankers squads is only a plus.

that’s a cool thing though.

aka, the ability to chose to have your rider to have a machinegun and increase the anti infantry capability,

or an anti tank rifle. to lose the ability against anti infantry, but gain the ability to midly be more effective against others riders vehicles, APCs, Bikes and Emplacements.

somewhat of a fair point.

but, i much like APCs theese type of armored vehicles ( not jeeps or bikes ) have their own Limit per team.

i doubt a car ( be it a 222, 221, m3 scout car, m8 grehound etc ) that can be easily destroyed with anti tank rifles or rocket launcher is much of a threat.

increase their br, and move them outside the tankers slots.

they have no business there.

it can have it’s uses.

just not as a tanker vehicle.

flank to place a rally,
destroy emplacements or enemy light vehicles ( as of yet, only APCs, and other bikes )

because you can increase it’s uses compared to where it is now.

transform this into a slighlty better rider vehicle.

and be a side grade.

you trade one specialist for either the ability to have an engineer, a radioman or a more powerful AT gunner with br III + explosives

more so a glass cannon.

that’s still better than 0 ( or next to 0 ) like currently.

because everything else is straight up better.

so, instead, we could, and should improve it and not let it be another vehicle to take dust in garages.

which through riders, can be slighty be more effective.

still requires tactic to use it.
since it wont be anouther W + LMB either.

as a tanker?

i’d still say no.

but as a dedicated rider with a event engineer would have be the best rider vehicle to this day.
