Oh god…its been 2 weeks since the last update (iirc) and now there’s no update whatsoever? Meh, i feel bored af and the game feels repetitive now
The lack of updates or communication is what’s killing it for me. They need a community manager, and fast.
That’s what I’ve been worried about. No updates, no comms from the devs…as if it is dead dude. Totally smh
yeah i am waiting for the models and i am starting considering going back to russia main cause i’m researching the mortar and i hear that the flamethrower squad is shit not good as for grenade rifle i am not really interested
Indeed, used to play everyday now I don’t want, same missions, same equipment, and lack of news…
Or they release other maps fast or people will skip this game. Even Moscow map can have much more missions, that map is huge.
Or at least expand the map…moscow map is 4x4 which is very very huge. Rather than having a repetitive game that make us all bored. I agree
You shouldn’t expect weekly content updates considering this is still a Beta. There is stuff in the pipeline for testing soon though.
That is understandable, however I think that author is rather more concerned about the lack of communication in overall, especially in past days. To be quite honest here, it concerns me too… a lot. There was pretty much a radio silence on most concerning issues ever since premium squad was released. Also this feeling is further induced by playing mostly against or with bots which may be a sign that we are not alone in this way of thinking.
For testers who wants this game to be success as well, this can be discouraging to say at least.
This isnt true. I have just joined a battle just to make a proof-screenshot.
- guderian - player
- maoto - bot
- Aaziko - bot
- muan - bot
- Darian - player
- Waasp - player
- gromoboic - player
- SuperPuding - player
- DNMDGB - player
- Mooelu - player
Only 3 bots from 10 and thats through the battle started couple minutes ago (10x12), allowing players to hot join it and and replace the bots.
And for sure you shouldn’t expect weekly updates. This isnt a mobile game where you get entertained by premade events every week.
We know there is plenty of untested content with the 3 other campaigns, weapons they removed from this campaign for supposed reworking, jeeps etc being found in the game files which we know they can make work thanks to Cuisine Royale at least in the lone soldier mode, and no doubt more.
We never have had a good amount of communication with the developers on any of gaijin released games. Crossout is dying due to said lack of communication and community feedback getting to the devs quickly. War Thunder only barely maintains its playerbase. I want enlisted to grow. For that, we need communication as to what the developers plan on doing with this content, and the game.
Just my 2 cents
I play about an hour per day and feel good
Seriously? With all respect, I would like to divide my arguments into two points because I´m sure there is misunderstanding…
First of all, this really depends on peak time, which shouldn´t be the case to such extend. Also, its not really Germans who usually have bot problem… in fact, its soviets which is something, that is discussed on multiple threads in this forum by now.
Secondly, please read my post again, and tell me, where exactly I´m asking for more or new content for my entertainment like in some predatory mobile game (so I can adjust the comment to not be so confusing).
This isn´t even only about entertainment (sure, it is everybody´s choice to just play and leave his/her opinions unspoken and I always respect it), this is about helping this game to sucessful start on its launch. This is about testing stuff, this is about posting feedback and engage in communication with DEV team, because this and only this is the time, when our word have enough weight to change certain things. To help avoiding some catastrophic scenairos, to make sure that the game that will be released is not unpolished and it will be fun to play as long as possible.
I don´t need, nor require weekly updates, but for all what is holy, some generic “we are looking at it” or engaging in discussion from time to time is all I humbly ask for.
Yes, it was 17:00 europe time and first attempt to check amount of bots has shown 70% real people. Ins not tricked, its just first time i’ve read you message i just went to see this with my own eyes and it was not like you said, no more or less.
Of course. But you stated there is lack of communication where you feel left, especially considering there are no players online and you play mostly with bots. You didnt stated timezone, or peak time, or something else, so dont do this now, you said no players - i gave you proofs there are players, no other rules were set, its done.
You dont have to ask to actually let me talk, isnt? This thread isnt your personal. Topic name says "its borring’’ where topic creators asks for more updates. My comment fits here 100% if you can follow thread theme and actually understand what i said.
No, this is pure demanding of attention and game updates, as the thread says “borred”. Its very childish and impatient to actually count every day and say “already 8th day without updates”, because there are people actually working 5 or 6 days per week. THEY WORK, dude, while you, and me, and others play barely creating any bug reports - they work. They dont communicate because they dont have such need for now, its obviously as day and night. Furthermore it was said MANY times that they read feedback but wont reply. There are even pinned topics saying that.
No, no, and no. If the devs want to keep the playerbase, they should communicate, leaving dead-air is not good for any game, and like others have said, I myself am getting bored of the game, I check the forum news Everyday, hoping for something new, even if its just planned updates, or anything like that. Keeping people in the dark isn’t healthy for a game, one in beta at that.
The devs do definitely look here and respond to things, e.g. they increased the EXP reward for the lone fighter game mode as said in a response on the 21st.
