If the machine guns can see you sniping them, you’re doing something wrong.

Kill cams don’t telegraph your position to a separate MG position.

Shoot the MG and they’ll be sitting ducks trying to shoot back with iron sights.

I think the MGs installed on the open-air bunker (not sure if that’s the correct term) on the US side are a great balancing act.
They provide the greatest suppression effect against Germans hiding in bunkers and shooting MGs!

If you’re talking about the 3 layer bunker
I think devs removed those MG’s

thats illegal tbh…germans should get 30 seconds before the attack begins to give them an edge also there should not be any tank for the first two caps

you can hardly see them being used since you need a sniper too clear all those mgs just one shot and the ngs get broken…increase the attaackers ticket by 200 i.e 1200

Maybe if devs introduce a mechanic where you can only deploy LVT’s in the water during the first 2 caps.

which are horribly inaccurate from long range, fire tracers making it instantly known where you’re shooting from, and have no cover.

If you struggle with them, bring a sniper and hide behind the landing crafts.

i’m going to give again my feedback by with a different perspective.
i didn’t liked the first i made, so i decided to remake it as my whole judgjement was clouded by my concerns. and i have played this update for quite long since this 2nd.

What i Like:

  • new maps
    most of the new maps for normandy are very good, nailed the details, the atmosphere and above all, the colors matching with the vegetation.

  • new vehicles
    i’m loving the new pzIV, the PZ III N, the M5, the M8 and the Sdk.fz 234. can’t wait for more

  • Reintroduction and Fixes on Semi Auto Rifles
    i was really looking foward for thse since the alpha. now, they really feel good, on point and " Punchy ". and i didn’t got dissapointed :wink: thank you.

  • New Weapons
    always good to see new content and the attention to details such as for the axis side the new italian weapons, as there were divisions and actual italian equipment used during the landing, the gustav cannon, all those “small” details that you people putted to make a whole ^^. it has not beeing unoticed.

  • New Unlockable for the campaign
    always good to have more things to my collection

  • New Rockets Airplanes:
    this was a great addition. i was looking foward for these/those ^^

now, i’ll speak on what i didn’t liked of this update. i know that they might sounds too many compared to what i liked, but i feel that some of them should be discussed

What i don’t like:

  • Too Many Captured weapons / other’s faction weapons
    as i said, it’s good to have them, but at the same time, not having playable divisions or regiments such as a british ones, it feels weird using enfields, bren guns or overhall, weapons as a different faction.

  • Starter Tanks.
    both tanks are somewhat good, but as both being preatty much of different class, can’t really compete against each other. as one it’s a light tank, and the other a recon heavy car. we are returning something similar like the PZ III against the BA-11.

  • place holders:
    watching rocket Launchers considered as PIAT and Mas 36 as mosins along side western weapons. it really killed my mood for a bit. not being here to disrespect anyone or being a jerk/mean to anyone.
    but feels like this update has been rushed in order to be brought to all of us.
    which brings me to the next point:

  • Missing Iconic Weapons
    like, what happened? where’s the STG 44? where’s the Panzerfaust? and all others allied weapons of before? ( of the previous test ) it doesn’t feel the same without them.

  • Lightning inside houses:
    the graphics of this game, it’s and will be one of the best out there.
    but it’s getting ridicolous when you find your self in urban combat and you can’t see inside houses that are 4 meters away from you. most of the time i get killed by someone that was picking at windows because i cannot see them as everything it’s dark. it’s understandable when the time it’s setted to sunshines. but not every map when everything it’s sunny and bright.
    so, it would be nicer if lightnings could be adjusted for those certain situations.

  • Vitality perk and chances of weapons failure upgrade still in the game.
    i don’t think there is much to say about this… but being in the middle of a battle, and i am being forced to empty half of my mag on 1 dude when there are many others things to think about it, makes me sad and frustrated as well when i just realized that i wasted time in getting rifles that are getting scrapped and lost forever because for some reason, my upgrade might fail.

  • AI being able to shoot through thicc bushes, trees and high vegetations it’s really off set. i’m not complaining about their good aim, because it’s what we have been asked from ages. but being 1 tapped through all of the vegetation, it’s getting boring. i know that if you lay down they shoot less, but they can still 1 tap from miles away even when you are kissing the ground. this really kills the atmosphere of normandy. as it’s basically everything setted up in the vegetation.

  • no new gamemodes.
    i was expecting perhaps some new PVE gamemodes, or PVP. something at all.

  • New Premium Squads
    i don’t particullary hate them, ( exept the perks. i hate those like almost everyone in this planet ), but it’s almost insulting that people pay for an mp28 when the americans receive the m2 shade that it’s a brand and better new gun as a whole. cosmetic wise, you could have done a lot better with those ones…
    ther americans looks similar to the other divisions exept much brighter and the germans seems they are ready to take a voyage in some tropical summer area. and it’s even worse when they are supposed to look like Feldgendarmerie (Military Police) ( due to their gorget ) but doesn’t look like that at all.

  • Opel Blitz and transport vehicles spawns
    don’t get me wrong, the opel blitz it’s great. but it’s sooo slow. that thing goes only at 20 km/h
    . and also the other vehicles are fine. the problem is, spawns are random. like, the american sometimes get the upper spawn, and the match later the down spawn. which it would be ok, if only you find your self as a german driving american cars because that was supposed to be their spawn, or driving an opel blitz as a american ( because you don’t have an american truck at all in this game ). it’s really off as well.

i kinda wished for my suggestion to be take in consideration… ( about mechanized units…) but we’ll see.

  • life quality improvements and suggestion of other members not followed:
    what i mean by this, is that, common features such as strips soldiers equipment, compass bringed back to the center, bug fixes such as the ammo crate not being able to refill secondary weapons and side arms… are still there. i do understand that’s it’s big work for all of the team… but there are certain things still present from the alpha that makes us feel unease.

and lasty

  • spawn killing, spawn camping and map layouts.
    for map layouts, i mean maps in gameplay perspective. unfortunally, most of the time, you can spawn camp the enemy. spawn killing, and the overhall maps doesn’t seem to be designed for gameplay purpouses. so many opel fields but completly unused and sometimes, like the map with the giant cannon, it has no cover at all.

What i don’t understand about this update:

  • Weapon Delivery
    i know it has been over 7/8 months. but i still don’t understand those. like, how are they supposed to work? every x number, i should get for guaranteed the weapon that i want. but when i reach that number, it’s totally random.

  • American Dvisional Patches
    why it has been removed?
    there were so handy, like being able to recognize the friendly which division he is using, or the enemy which regiment he was using.

they were a great addition that i kinda wished for the germans to have something similar.

in conclusion:

i’m verry happy, and looking foward for this beta to suceed.

although, there’s still work to do.

so i wish the best for everyone and everything^^.

The rebuilt guns have a ~5 degree cone of fire, so 5 degrees to the left, and 5 to the right. The ones the engineer build have the good accuracy.

Browning Auto 5 needs a massive nerf
