In itself, the spawnbeacon is probably the single strongest thing in the game.
but there are a few things making the mechanic annoing more than anything else.
dont get me wrong! im 100% for the spawn beacon.
the problem is its 6-10 seconds full immunity to damage on respawn paired with the 5 second respawn intervall and relativly short “Enemy is close” respawn-block
ALSO one of the most annoing this is when the enemy builds them outside accessable sides of the map yet within 40 meters of the objective. (happens frequently in assault as far as i know)
so things id want adressed and how the beacon would be ideal in my mind!
25% increased radius for “enemy is nearby”
respawn rate increased to 7 seconds instead of 5 seconds.
The beacon can not be built outside the enemys playingfield.
Either spawn invunerability (Only on beacon spawn, not home base) is fully removed or lowerd to 1-2 seconds.
respawning on a beacon should be a strategic advantage yet a risk!
I agree that spawn protection should be removed entirely for beacons. Distance and respawn rate is acceptable as it will balance out when you can actually kill the respawning enemies.
They are incredibly powerful but creates a more dynamic game depending on the placement of beacons. It gives a defending force initiative to hunt them down instead of sitting in a cap building, and the attacking force will be rewarded for flanking and clearing beacons preventing an easy retake.
I suggest to increase the setting limit distance of the respawn point and reduce the invincibility time after simultaneous respawn. If the respawn point is too easy to establish, then the concept of the front line will be lost, and there will be no front line and logistics area on the battlefield, because the enemy may suddenly appear anywhere, just as interesting as an invisible warrior.
Please weaken the respawn point or increase the limit of the respawn point to make it more like a realistic World War II game, rather than other CS or COD
