I would like to suggest adding the ability to resupply ammunition on APCs (Armored Personnel Carriers) .
Currently, ammunition can mainly be replenished through ammunition boxes built by Engineers or by using motorcycles. However, both options have significant limitations.
When a soldier runs out of ammunition they are often completely dependent on the “mercy of their teammates” if the own Engineer is already dead. If there is no friendly ammunition box nearby, there is essentially no way to resupply without sacrificing the soldier and respawning. Yes, you can pick up a weapon from a dead soldier.
Motorcycles are also not a reliable alternative. They are relatively rare on the battlefield, and therefore players cannot realistically depend on finding one when they run out of ammunition.
I accpect that you don’t like the suggestion and that you voted with “NO”.
However this suggestion is not something born of pure imagination, but a historical fact. Armored personnel carriers were designed at the factory with special storage compartments for ammunition boxes integrated beneath and behind the soldiers’ bench seats.
For example german Sd.Kfz. 251 and the M3 Half-track were simultaneously rolling weapons platforms and mobile armories. Since they accompanied the infantry directly into combat, they had to be capable of supplying the troops autonomously.
Additional cartridges for standard rifles (such as the Karabiner 98k or the M1 Garand), hand grenades, and often ammunition for carried anti-tank weapons (e.g., Panzerfaust or bazooka) were also carried. This means that the armored personnel carriers served as a forward supply point. When ammunition ran low, the soldiers would run back to the vehicle or have crates passed forward to them.

The motorcycles are rarely used anyway. I can’t remember when I used them or when I saw the last one in my or the enemy team.
And as I already answered to MR_87: it is a historical fact that the APCs have storage compartments for weapons and ammunition, and that these were indeed used.
To be fair the pics are show not the reality. More a museum wich throw in wild order boxes and ammo. Terrible! APC´s in general was no ammo carriers if we exclude rare variants wich was not for troop transport.
