Favorite type of event

Enlisted has many events, and I wonder what’s your favorite kind.
Is it seasonal events, like Christmas and anniversary events
Important events like D-day event
Random events like the current Vintage event?
Or do you not care. (Like me)

I’ll turn it around - My least favorite are the score based events (e.g. 25k in 2 days).

I have no problem getting that score in a few games but it seems that for the duration of the event, the quality of matches is AWFUL (compared to baseline… which is already bad).

Absolute focus on HE spam and trash tactics with little care to who wins or how cancerous the gameplay is.

I prefer the structure of mini-events where a stage is a few tasks like kill 60 enemies with a machine gun.

I like the saboteurs style. Get x amount battle score at your own pace and cash it in for reward at each milestone. Today i played 5 matches and was still like 1,200 or so points short of the goal, and did not feel like playing anymore, BUT I DID ANYWAY because of sunk cost.

And then happened to have a record-breaking (for me) score of 9103, the vast majority of which went to waste, as far as the event goes. Would have been nice if the excess 7500+ went towards the next milestone, since that’s about my 2-game average most times.

It’s very likely I’ll play more than enough over the weekend to cover 2-3 milestones worth of score, however it will only count for 1, and then I’ll be burnt out on the game during the week and will force myself to play for the FOMO of it, while not enjoying half of the games.

Basically, any events based on classic Enlisted gameplay and themed around World War II.

In other words, I just like all events that aren’t some Halloween or April Fools’ nonsense.

Anniversary and Christmas events tend to give better prizes. Personally I like the older ones like the Soviet and German Assault Engineers…every 2 days was a reward and was 20k points, when you got the squads you also got a GO for a weapon of choice…excellent.
But events at your own pace are best.

I’d settle for reverting back to 20k, but locking event rewards behind 2 day chunks kinda sucks in general, in the “achievement” style format too. Sometimes I’m busy for 2-3 days. I don’t think you should have to live and breathe Enlisted to the exclusion of having a life in order to have a chance at all the rewards in an event, nor do I think they should just be given with no effort, but as is it’s balanced towards “MUST PLAY EVERY DAY” which just isn’t healthy.

Maybe if you have to do it that way, have more days than rewards, like with battlepass. I can not play for 15 days in a month and still complete the BP, just won’t get a bunch of repeat rewards.

I liked the market garden event the most (the rewards and actual WWII game play) although I know some people hated it, I loved the free flow saboteur event unlock system. And I look back with rose tinted glasses at the Leadstorm April 1st event (I know it wasn’t that great because of camping). Generally mini events like the recent with squads are the most fun for me and some big events like the current Vintage Arsenal event can have good rewards but aren’t that fun to unlock (especially by the end of the event I feel burnt out). I love the new blue event token system but bringing back gold orders would be preferable IMO.

Agree. + For the tokens that let you choose rewards, - for the compressed and compartmentalized timeline that forces you to play an hour a day, or 2 hours every 2 days to get everything.

As a type of event in terms of its content, I don’t have a favorite. If it’s about how they’re implemented, I’d say the events that require you to earn 5000 points for a reward are the best, or the 65k saboteur event. You could literally complete the event at your own pace, which is ideal.
