I am used to throwing back on ps5, but this new fall on grenade, never seen ai do it, or players do it.
Is it simply a matter of going prone on grenade? Anyone test this?
I tried it once on an explosion pack to save a random guy that was in a bunker with me, but it didnt work. Maybe because i might have not made it on the grenade fully to shield it, since it exploded very quickly.
And the random dude was downed so he was low health

never see anything.
One Time i want to try it… but the door was near then the Grenade so i run 
never saw anyone doing it.
its that type of things that doesnt really add nothing special to the gameplay and will be seen once in a life time.
like the shovels in tunisia. cool concept, not for this game.

It does work, go in practice throw a grenade and go prone on it, if covering it fully, the surrounding squad members will survive…
I usually throw back grenades though, but will try and remember this, but if people like me I cook them, so no chance!
But, in practice and in-game, your grenades don’t hurt friendly squad members. Neither mines or panzerfausts.
Neither they hurt teamates,
They just hurt it kill in lone fighters mode.
Er dunno about that, it works for me, yesterday I proned in practice mode, all that was left of my was an arm after lying on DP… one squad members died.
I think you may have made assumptions mate, not responded based on facts, unless different on PC?
which button is it on ps5? 
No button, throw grenade in practice and go prone on it as usual, cover body over grenade profit!
