Brace yourself. Lunar New Year 2026 begins on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, marking the start of the Year of the Horse in the Chinese zodiac. So in exactly a week. They better have some good rewards prepared them gaijiners.
yup, 2 squads
Tuna Urumaki Tokyo Arsenal is my bet. Green, white, pink
Exactly two squads and 4 weapons, plus some fillers. Portrait, pistol, saber maybe … ahahahahahaha. F my life
Did DF not read what was written on the forums, and why did they hold three literally shitty events in a row… who asked for that?
Three supply drops with crappy prizes in a row. This procedure is somewhat funny.
They dont care about Japan. They ignore all of us
Gaijian dont like players that think lol
Is that an event gun that blows bubbles
Yes, I agree. Bring back Gold Orders as prices. Let us pick and choose our own Rewards. I never play BR2 USA, for example. Owen II is worthless.
Probably Sale on some useless “Premium” Riflemen Squads with BR1 weapons or Bugged Old Squads that no one wants.
That seems to be the case. Furthermore, I’ve seen players who notice the bias and preferences, and even boast about it. The developers don’t seem to realize that it makes no sense to sideline a faction when what they’re really doing is ignoring the players. At this rate, it’ll just be another Call of Duty game.
well, for me, better than the previous event.
and this weapon skin was long awaited.
matter of fact, any time someone talked about skins, they pointed to this very specific Owen pattern.
… perhaps way too late.
but cool nevertheless.
USMC insignia on the other hand, has to be a crime to be artificially limited when was the most used insignia after the white star.
that, is less cool.
and you only get two ![]()
how about you get 4 from here and out.
instead of 2.
i don’t see why i have to gamble through silvers if i just want decals or skins opposed as tons of silvers, boosters and… well, the other useless stuff to many.
Bold of you to post that in this neighbourhood…
Bro got balls of steel for posting this. However though, Major is only the messenger, not the one who causes problems.
I won’t go as far as defend Major but stuff like that is unproportionally more hurtful than funny.
To a degree, and like I said, he’s just the messenger, not an entirely good one, but not the one who caused problems for us players.
Unpopular opinion: he does a good job too. I miss James but having a native English speaker has it’s perks and what he can share with us is not up to him.
Me too, I honestly felt like they actually talked to us more instead of Major.
I know this is going to sound “on the fence” or vague, but there is often a limit to what we can say. Unless we have it directly all confirmed and borderline ready to go entirely, we can rarely comment on what exactly is coming. So when players ask “hey, when X” - it’s often hard to give an answer whether or not it’s coming. It’s also true that developers are flexible, so if I was to say something is not coming, it could change quickly and may indeed be being prepared. The best we can usually give is “thanks, it’s forwarded” - which we could do to many posts, but not everything can be forwarded for various valid reasons or even forwarding something is not met with success, so marking something as such and then not for other comments is understandably frustrating for some. Then there’s also the occurrence where we say something is forwarded, but its effect is not really felt for a while. This is pretty common. There are plans in advance for what to prepare for different major updates/events/etc, and tasks allocated to developers based on this. Usually these feedback points manifest themselves in something to be done for a future update (but it depends what it is) and not right now, so it’s also understandable, but also the only thing we can normally reveal is the same “it’s already been forwarded”, which I (at least personally) think it loses its charm or believability (even if true) over time. But of course I think everyone understands “X nation suffers, Y nation too OP” is not going to be forwarded, at least not without a detailed reasoning behind it (but it’s usually best to avoid this anyway, and just explain what a player’s gripe is with something without going for the cliche).
Anyway that is a lot of yap - it’s just worth reminding. All pings we get I look at anyway (alongside general forum posts). I’m always here to talk (and many players do DM me on various platforms) and respond where possible and where is logical to, but there’s a lot of work to do too preparing future things (even though it would be fun to spend my entire working day just talking about Enlisted to players). ![]()
