On February 9, 1943, U.S. forces finally secured their position on Guadalcanal and the capture of the island became one of the turning points in the Pacific War.
From February 9th (13:00 UTC) to February 15th (13:00 UTC), you can get rewards for completing tasks.
Rewards
For completing 6 and 7 out of the 9 tasks, you will receive a unique decal for American tanks and APCs, and for 8 completed tasks, two Owen Mk I (Camouflaged) submachine guns.
Tasks
Phase 1 (February 9th - February 11th):
Kill 40 enemies using a bolt-action rifle or a semi-auto rifle.
Kill 50 enemies using a submachine gun.
Complete 4 battles.
Phase 2 (February 11th - February 13th):
Kill 15 enemies using a pistol or a shotgun.
Kill 30 enemies with headshots.
Complete 4 battles.
Phase 3 (February 13th - February 15th):
Destroy 4 vehicles.
Build rally points and deploy APCs that will be used 30 times.
Complete 4 battles.

During the event the following squads will also temporarily return to the shop for Gold:
28th Infantry Regiment with UD M42 (USA, BR II)
No. 56 Squadron with Tempest MK.V (USA, BR V)
6th Armored Regiment with Ka-Chi (Japan, BR II)
60th Infantry Regiment with Browning M1918 (USA, BR III, Collectible)

The tasks can be completed in the Squads mode.
The list of tasks is updated every two days at 13:00 UTC.
Tasks can be completed simultaneously.
Uncollected rewards will disappear when the tasks change.
From February 15th (13:00 UTC) to February 17th (13:00 UTC), after the end of the event, you will have the opportunity to purchase any missing rewards for Gold.
only good thing is 2k silver, its not worth it but its something. Lets see if axis will get their “succesfull capture” themed rewards in the future, after the comintern and allies…
At least it’s a primary and not a sidearm this time. But this is still a bare minimum event. Additionally the fact that the returning premium squads aren’t even discounted and you still have the gall to re-release the Browning M1918 after the merge for gold is shameful.
