F7F-1 and KI-83 Rework Balance ⚠

Hmm, those two aircraft could effectively be split into early and late variants for separate use. Yeah, aside from the FW model, Germany’s rocket-powered planes have become extremely rare. It’s a bummer these two still can’t get bumped up to BR 3.

@Emperor_Yoshiro , hey, how about playing together in a team? What BR do you prefer?

Well, I actually specialize in Japanese small arms. Purely hypothetically, if the wing can handle a drop tank, shouldn’t it be able to handle a 250 kg bomb? For that matter, the mounting systems for 250 kg bombs and drop tanks are pretty similar (though they are different). Plus, some planes in the A6M Zero series could carry heavy bombs instead of a drop tank. The book “The X-planes of Imperial Japanese Army & Navy 1924-45” literally shows an illustration of a drop tank setup on the Ki-83.

And if we want to get creative, we could just use drop tanks as napalm, like we already see with the A6M3 in-game (just a joke, mostly). Long story short, I don’t have a definitive answer, but it feels like a single-source mistake, and I’m leaning towards it only carrying 30–50 kg bombs. Then again, if the devs already gave it 100 kg bombs (which aren’t in the sources anyway), I don’t see why 250 kg bombs would be a problem either.

Well they first need to put the bombs on the right plance in game they are on the wrong place

I don’t have good quality images sadly but you can see that ingame the bombs are in the wrong place. But the hardpoints can carry all standard Japanese bombs. There is even one example with a 250-kg bomb on an external sling:
Уголок неба ¦ Mitsubishi Ki-83
Ki-83 Mitsubishi

Now you can send this guy directly to Mongolia with his new anime avatar and Dakimakura and Декард for company

So, in other words, there’s still no 100% confirmation of your words? I never denied that, purely hypothetically, it could carry such armament. But whether it was ever actually realized in practice is hard to say. And judging by the fact that different sources give different information and there are no photos confirming it, I’m inclined to think that it wasn’t. So, you still haven’t managed to refute my words.
Also by the way, in that last thread you cared so little about it that you edited your post four times in an hour?)))
And the Kurils are still Russian anyway))

The aircraft is a prototype it was never been used what are you talking about everything about it is hypothetically like majority of Japanese BR IV and V stuff from tanks to payloads but according to Kita Aobayama Library science departments at Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan its normal hard points with normal bomb loads since there is nothing special about them it can carry 50,100 and 250 kg bombs like all other Japanese aircrafts with such… now put the anime avatar.

Who the F cares about them only you … xD

And I edit them since I do other things while I post.

I’ve been watching this weird discussion go off on a tangent for a while now, but before even getting into the Northern Territories stuff — is he even Japanese? Or is he just someone from another country who simply likes the Japanese military? If he’s not Japanese, then this whole thing is extremely ridiculous.
