Explosive packs literally need to change

I just played against a guy named MackDManiac 2 games in a row in Tunisia and all he did was throw explosion packs with the grenade perk all game. He probably had 3 detpacks per soldier and he ended up with over 300 kills doing that alone.

I’m all for explosive packs being good AT, but they seriously should not be that deadly to infantry especially in the open. It’s literally concussion and nothing else, hell the shrapnel grenade should cause more damage and range.

So essentially I say explosion packs should only kill if it lands really close or is in tight quarters because of concussion being worse in a confined area.

This seriously needs to change because that takes no skill, gives an insane reward and ruins everyones fun.

The dynamite pack has been weakened? (I haven’t read the latest announcement yet, but my friend warned me that this would happen. At that time, he also complained about being killed by three explosives, and he was even unable to fight back.)

It hasn’t happened yet sadly, and pretty sure the throwing range perk is unchanged

Det pac should only be for engineers and at troopers

Nothing will change, he will just spam triple grenades then, and delete tanks with suicide bombing. The only solution is perk removal or removal of the large grenade bag, and neither will happen because even Keofox himself enjoys explosives spam. Sadly that’s the cancer of the game that cannot be fixed

All that’s needed to prevent excessive TNT spam is to put into practice the already announced correction of trowing perk and/or decrease the throwing distance of TNT. As long as one can’t just yeet them ridiculously far, there’s way less room for abuse.

Degenerate animals throwing exp packs all day exist, but in my experience it is very rare.

Tbh I never give throwing perk to my soldiers and dislike when someone gets it at random (in Stalingrad it happens), since I regularly forget to check, then when trying to take out a tank I aim for the tracks by calculating drop as I’m used to, and instead my TNT goes WEEEEE to infinity and beyond.

Lol your best bet is making TNT spam squad in every capmaign, cycle it with suicide bombing planes and artillery spam (2 radio squads filled with long range TNT), bonus points for granade launchers.

Then hope You get in game with Keo and make him mad enaugh to actually say something to devs.
They don’t read shit on forum besides feedback about last update post that i bet they just skim through.

One can get You banned, one actually is supposed to collect feedback for devs.

Remove the grenade perk and grenade pouch and problem solved for no skill players spamming nades.

Mostly if they get reported, then forum moderators arrive, lock the thread or ban someone.

If You are looking for devs reading every forum post and every suggestions, try another game.

Keo himself stated they don’t read forum posts, and for feedback they check thread i mentioned above.
I doubt most mods can talk to devs and pitch our ideas.
Keo can, he is community manager and he collects feedback.
But he doesn’t read all forum post, he is mostly for 10min in new update posts and he checks the last update feedback post.

He literally 99% won’t see this thread as well as most other suggestions.

I don’t get it: are people completely idiots and don’t understand simple things?
The problem is in the grenade pouches. If you take away the explosive pouches, this dude will spam grenades. We need to restrict or remove the pouches, not touch the exploding pouches.
God, people are so stupid.
Similarly, as the smart guy wrote:

We need to remove the perk for “throw a grenade at 200 meters”

How about we make small grenade pouches add +1 slots for smoke grenades instead?

Yes, the pouch should give you a slot for a smoke grenade, and a big one for a molotov cocktail as well.
But not three fragmentation grenades.
