Explosion Packs are way to strong for AT... it makes every other AT weapon useless

AT Mines are completely useless and given the fact that you can only carry 1 they are even more useless

AT Cannons are useless for AT since they require 4-5 shots to blow up an enemy tank and in that time the enemy tank already has a bead on you by the 2nd shot you let off…

Tanks are Semi-useless for AT because they generally take the same number of shots to destroy their target unless its an explosive shell against the side of a lightly armoured tank…

Bombers Launchers are non-existent in games anymore because the explosion pack does the job of the bomber squad more effectively

in conclusion explosion packs are ruining the game since its META to run them on every soldier… if it were up to me id make explosion packs non-throw-able and turn them into defensive explosives then give the bomber a throw-able 4kg high explosive satchel charge, i even thought of how they could implementing it using the already existing systems in the game…

in this way i appease both the explosion pack abusers who will cry when they aren’t able to lob tank killing grenades with ease, how? you might ask well because the bomber will be able to equip the “Satchel Charge” a specifically designed 4kg AT explosive

oh iv been at this since june… did you not see the post date of my other suggestion i linked…

yes lol i did

because realistically a 2.5lb charge of dynamite wouldn’t fucking dent even the lightest tank in this game… maybe it might de-track it but that’s about the extent of it… the military designed 4kg high explosive satchel charges in an effort to be able to deal with the increasing thickness of enemy armour…

they were also extremely effective at clearing bunkers as shown in a many war movies…

it would do more than dent it what i dont understand is why the guy don’t open the hatches then throw in grenade like your supposed to do kill the crew

it would do more than dent it what i dont understand is why the guy don’t open the hatches then throw in grenade like your supposed to do kill the crew

because hatches have internal locks on them… when in battle these locks are usually engaged

and no a 2.5lb charge of dynamite isn’t very powerful… they require hundreds of stick of dynamite in pre-drilled holes just to mine stone so what do you think it does to a much stronger material like armour plates…

they drill holes to channel the blast to where they want it

yes and when you throw a charge against the shell of a tank what happens to the dispersion of the blast?
is it channelled to a specific area or does it just disperse in every direction…

it goes through the metal and create a concussions that can blow out your ear drums and make noise bleed
but the metal used on tanks at the time couldn’t with stand tnt pack

its actually noted that tanks in WW2 could take a 1.2 kg (roughly 2.5lb) TNT pack to the face and brush it off like nothing happened… that’s why 4kg high explosive satchel charges were invented… because they needed an explosion with a little more umph to it… that’s why the main explosive in satchel charges was plastique…

ammonium nitrate is an explosive sure but in terms of power its on the lower end of the scale…

like maybe the tanks from WW1 were susceptible to 2.5lb dynamite charges but that was a whole other age of war.

its not a shaped charge, its going to find the path of lest resistants and go that way, meaning away from the tank

Lol seriously another one? Get closer to end game then comment on the meta
Tanks > infantry at range
Bombers > Everything in a 100m radius (try a game without just biplanes you’ll understand)

I mean, such charges were generally effective at achieving mobility kills against tanks if you got one near the tracks and/or suspension.

Shaped charge grenades were mostly used as rifle grenades to have sufficient force to pierce the armor of a tank, though they were developed by all sides of the war. The soviets stuck to hand grenades that had to be dropped on a tank from a window or the like overlooking a tank, due to how they had to be used.

There was also the British HESH thrown sticky grenades that were reasonably effective.

i am basically at end game… i can equip 27 explosion packs on a single squad… if that’s not broken to you then your obviously one of those explosion pack abusers who doesn’t want their game breaking grenade changed…

LOL having 27 of them slows you down champ. Do et ill knife you all day. Also they arent as good as nades in anyway except for tanks. Guarantee you cant kill 27 tanks in one game let alone one squad spawn champ.

I play tanker as my non infantry squad. If your mad its because your playing tank wrong and you thought it would just be god mode while you fry infantry around you.

tankers are crying again, what’s new.
