Experienced a defeat where our side killed more than twice as many as the other side!

W T F?
Why does a battle end in a defeat when one side kills more than twice as many as the other side?
Something unbalanced?
This should never, ever, ever, ever happen.

Which game mode?
Because you can literally kill as many as you like if you don’t play the objective.

Ive lost (and won) that way a few times, usually happens on invasion for me where the defenders just hold the point at any cost with a combination of the attackers holding back too much and not pushing forward.

probably conquest or confrontation…

Well if you never actively capture or defend an objective, of course it’s going to happen…if nobody from your team is on the objective, the enemy team can quickly capture or manage to defend the point and your 200 kills elsewhere will have been in vain.

To win you generally just need more engineering points than the other team (which means that you build more rally points and perhaps some defences). Not all the time, but most of the time. Kills are somewhat irrelevant.

Play the objective and this will never happen. Number of kills means nothing.

I would predict why it happened.
This is what happens when you focus only on the target without destroying the rally point.
The top players may be aircraft or tanks, and the rest may be beginners or bots.
