Experience of playing at a mid-low end PC

First, this PC is my second PC used at home. My main PC hardwares are R5 3600X/GTX1080, but at school.
This is a Dell OEM PC, with some upgrades.
CPU: i5 4460 (4C4T,3.2~3.4Ghz)
GPU: GTX950(2GB GDDR5, 75w TDP)
RAM: 4+8GB DDR3 1600
Storage: 1TB WD Blue 3D SSD.
Monitor/Resolution: 2560x1440@60hz
OS: Win10 1909 x64
Yesterday I came back home, and used this PC, a current mid-low end PC, playing Enlisted. The game do can run without any errors. The game’s graphic settings are all set to lowest, excluding resolution scale, which is 100%. FPS around 30~40, with some lags to 10~20. Control is not easy, and aiming is more difficult than 60fps.
According to the Task Manager, this game used slightly more than 2GB of GDRAM, which may cause more terrible framerates. As for CPU usage, this game is multi cores/threads optimized, so no single 100% core usage, which is very nice, even for a outdated [email protected] CPU. And this game dosent takes much of RAM, 8G RAM is enough.
BTW, reducing to 1080p may help, but may also meet some lags, and fps just go up to 40~60, not fluent enough, but playable.
I5 4460 may have same performance like recent i5 8250U/i3 7350k, GTX950 may like recent GTX1050 (2GB,Mobile) or MX450(GD6). So, playing this game on a new ultrabook isnt a daydream.
