This is the second time I have posted about this, but I think it’s a good idea and should be heard, which is why I am posting about it again
My friend and I have been playing enlisted, with him being a f2p and me having premium. I am absolutely skyrocketing in the campaign, research tree and soldier levels whereas he is still stuck playing 10 games just so he can research something worth 60,000XP. And, just to make it clear, we do have almost the same amount of points each battle.
Maybe you could introduce a ratio system where you can divide the amount of points that go into each thing. There are currently 3 places experience go into.
- Research Tree
- Squad Upgrade Points
- Soldier Upgrade Points
Perhaps there could be a feature that allows sacrificing the amount of squad experience or soldier experience you get from a match and siphon the sacrificed xp and scale it into the research tree instead. This can solve numerous problems, the main one being the extremely long progression that this game has. If this feature is implemented, a lot of people, not just my friend, would benefit from having increased amount of control over where they want their progression. Maybe you want to level up your soldiers faster? Then just sacrifice points that go towards the tech tree and squad points.
Update: Silver could also be a part of the ratio system where you could sacrifice some squad xp, research tree xp to get more silver from battles.
Let me know if you want further explanation on this idea, I might not have explained it well. I fully believe that this would be a great addition to the game.
