I know I need to remap it that “F” key (err the F’en key" can’t be stopped), if you hit it your out and I can’t seam to find a Way to stop the exiting process once it’s begun, ideally hitting “F” again would stop it.
Switch seats/character real quick to stop it
Logically, hitting F again to stop it would be everyone’s muscle memory in such misshits. I woul dalso recommend adding that.
As far as I’m aware pressing ‘F’ again does stop you from exiting the vehicle. I regularly press ‘F’ to start and cancel exiting as a way to pass the time going from A to B in any vehicle.

Not that I have been able to make work, seems to happen to me more often in a plane, and I find mind self in free fall, and then my neighbors would why I am yelling the F word again 
Ya, I do that when I am in a tank, to repair often, it’s just that the “F” is close to “D” and I hit it accidentally often
