As example in current event the japanese rocket squad is rewarded at stage 4 instead of this ridiculous system players should be able to pick what ever squad they want at each stage.
Obviously, should not be able to pick same squad at every stage.

I think its on purpose, the first faction to unlock the event reward always gains some popularity.

Still, quite unfair that one faction requires 4 stages ~8days and another takes 14 stages ~28days.
I for sure know already that I cant invest the time required for germut squad, which was pretty much exactly what happened with the paratroop event as well.
