So the first match I play goes well. I get about 2000 score. The next one almost gave me an aneurysm, as whenever I spawned, no matter how far or close I spawned, there was always 3 squads of Germans waiting to gun me down. And this last one was just pure trash. Only 2 minutes 40 seconds for a match, where I only got 174 score.
If it wasn’t for the MKb, as crappy as it is, I probably wouldn’t even be grinding it. Why don’t points carry over anyway like the Halloween event last year? It’s dumb that I have to grind 5000 score every day, when I should have score left over from the previous day.
Well, maybe worst is a bit over the top. But it’s still not great. My biggest issue is that the score doesn’t carry over into the next day, since I only needed 1800 score to finish the event, but I got 2900. So in theory I should have 1100 to carry over into the next stage.
I shouldn’t have to grind 5000 score each day from 0, especially since matches are generally pretty bad. I guess it’s just Gaijin luck to get small score when you need big score, and big score when you only need small score.
Unfortunately it is the nature of events to get a bit repetitive.
Why? What makes you special? The conditions of the event are clearly stated and pretty easily achievable, and you can always buy out the remainder each day.
Get over yourself!
the 30% booster was pretty cheap and does help - takes me 3 games usually - sometimes 2.
Capture is fine - it gives you score - but as you say let them capture it back - the 2 or 3 games I’ve seen where allies win are low scoring and I’ve pointed that out in-game to ppl a couple of times.
Best gameplay for both is do not try to win - the is no benefit to winning!!
