To gain points from event, it cannot be from APCs, it must be normal rallies, is that a bug?

yea at leaast i hope it is otherwise that might make apc “useless” since most people would be building rally
Let’s introduce a new spawn mechanic and then make an event with very high rally task BUT let’s not inlcude the new spawn mechanic.
If this isn’t a bug, I dunno if I’ll even have the patience to get the squads.

It’s not a bug, APC spawns are different from rally spawns

you all happy to buy a APC to get spawn points, but you wont run a engineer in squads, and lay a rally. 
So was this DF answer, to no one laying rally’s, give them a APC, and score free points?

hey clearly the best strategy is to spawn on your apc and build your rally next to it for maximum profit cause i did that and it work great (double rally and double point +15 extra)
im surprise most people dont do this it literally free xp and it help the team

I do know about bundling spawn points, and will do it, but i old, and old sayings have a reason behind them.
Don’t put all your eggs in one basket
In this game, could mean, don’t just have one spawn, cause of arty/AP mined, or mass casualty’s due to all spawning quicker on one point.
Also i like to give my team, another avenue of attack.
i mean i would do that but the german are too fast so i cant make “other venue” in time but if i can i would make it in different spot
There’s no engineer in the HT. It would seem the devs have added the player spawn bonus to the engineer contribution score, so the priority is to reward builders of the stuff the team uses.
It would have made more sense to up the points value for building defences knowing that player usage of the spawn in would keep pumping points into the build score.
The Devs recently are not failing to disappoint with their short sightedness. As I mentioned before, nothing is play tested, we are the testers and on the basis of feedback the most necessary things will get some consideration to address them.
i know that which is why i spawn with the squad that have engineer so i can build it next to halftrack or somewhere else
