I think the 1 item / soldier / campaign requirement for these is a total overkill considering the rarity and price of these items.
If I have enough freaking helmets to have a full M17 german squad, then allow me to have this customization across all applicable campaigns for the same squad.
i’d argue gold cosmetics should be UNIVERSAL period.
what they did is just greedy. and insulting to those who bought those squads to use cosmetics elsewhere.
So they lied? Major said those cosmetics would keep between campaigns? Great.
I won’t judge anyone in this situation, I’ll leave personalities behind as to each his own - but objectively, you have a whole unique squad with unique weapons, and xp boost, versus a few helmets and uniforms pieces. Even if the player is just playing Enlisted from the RP side, those few items don’t really make anything better or provide any more interesting customization options that we have already at the moment.
EDIT: Personally, for me, Enlisted is the worst game when it comes to customization. It simply doesn’t exist.
