Event for christmas

I have a much better idea than the last one! An event that requires no special additions, stays true to the World War II theme, and will significantly increase playtime for many players! Want to know what it is?

Basically, it’s the creation of a free battle pass that will allow you to earn enough gold to buy a real battle pass.

It will offer quests of medium difficulty (not too easy, not too hard), and instead of the usual coins from the classic battle pass, you’ll use silver chests for the four additional levels! No need for exclusive weapons or camouflages since players will have access to the real battle pass! Everyone wins!

It’s crucial not to make it a paid service or anything like that, because on paper the players will be paying with their time!

What they’re rolling out for Halloween and just how horribly monetized it is.

I wouldn’t want Christmas—with our already tiny playerbase—to get split up by another pointless event, wasting the efforts of the 2-3 devs on staff.

Be careful what you wish for, folks.

I’m waiting for the game’s 5th anniversary on November 10th. If my hopes aren’t met—roadmap update, content announcements, any kind of statement on intentions and the future—I’ll probably dip out for a long while, maybe forever.

The game’s stagnating, and they’re trying to monetize every damn thing already. Weird they haven’t shoved in ads yet, like in those free apps.

But dude, I just proposed an event that makes gold and requires absolutely no preparation time, damn it, what don’t you understand? :smiling_face_with_tear::smiling_face_with_tear::smiling_face_with_tear::smiling_face_with_tear:

Honestly, it’s starting to annoy me; there’s always something to criticize or contradict, it’s driving me crazy.

mate calm down. Forums are like that don’t let it get to you.

One thing to take into account is the devs are running a business, not a charity, therefore their products would be monetised along the way somewhere. Players paying with their time doesnt pay the devs bills and keep the servers (and the hamsters) working. It’s good enough that with the free gold given out over the years that we can use the gold to buy a pass and we get the cost back and aquire BP weapons etc.

This is no intentional negative reflection on your idea, it’s just the nature of a cold cash generating business. Xxx

You’re right, excuse me. I originally came to the forum hoping to contribute to the game’s development, but ultimately, none of my ideas, good or bad, were accepted. Furthermore, the game isn’t progressing, and the exciting World War II aspect isn’t as prominent as it could be. But don’t worry, this won’t last. At the end of December, I’ll be permanently removing Enlisted and disappearing from the forum as suddenly as I arrived. :smiling_face_with_tear:

Why not open up the rewards a bit?

An event where you can earn some Premium Time, or an extra squad slot?

I’m sure most would agree that’d it be something decent to grind for.

I completely understand your point of view, but there are different types of businesses. Some are slightly more profitable for society, but at least they give players something interesting to do. Then there are those that produce very little, take advantage of users’ lack of knowledge, and charge exorbitant prices for products that aren’t exactly new.

Take the M8 Greyhound, for example: a mass-produced armored car that ends up in the premium category for obscure reasons. We could also talk about Willys and Hotchkiss Jeeps, and other British models. Why aren’t they included, given that some were equipped with 7.62mm machine guns in the rear, which was extremely common at the time? I understand there are bills, salaries, and so on, but that’s no reason to unnecessarily lengthen the game’s lifespan.

No paid service, with Gaijin? :joy:

They could give out Gold Orders for Christmas and let you spend them on any BP or Event / Retired weapons you wanted to.
