So while looking at the possible rewards for the token I saw that you also get get any saber for it but thatassesment was incorrect.
When checking out the japan page I noticed that the katana is not available for sale even though it exists as an reward in earlier events.
So I guess even the devs forgot that it existed and dont even offer it to the odd 3 people that might want to actually buy it for collection purposes.
there is no japan gun in the event so they dont get the saber, the other 3 faction have the gun and sword.
and no i dont count the main reward just the sub reward.
Probably cause those are meant to only be for the other factions, since Japanese got the Yype 97 anti-tank launcher with a shield for the event

Everything is as it should be. They aren’t included in the weapon rewards either because they have the main reward… and you have to be a masochist or jap collector use your order on the katana when you have shin gunto
