Personally I feel it kinda proves my point.
Tons of people play it, having a match where it’s 10 actual humans vs 10 actual humans makes it so much better…
So far most matches I’ve had were super close and it is just awesome. Why can’t the base game be like this?
(Ideally you’d have a bunch of player adjustable presets for each historical battle, but the weapons and vehicles available are way more historically accurate/limited/balanced)
And you just click play and random a nice, fully human lobby where matches are balanced and fun and not soul sucking stomps

Thank you for proving my point. The game is in need of an actual meaningful and harsh desertion penalties.

mine are practically the same.
either a stomp, or get stomped.
with the exception of kinda being “forced” to play at least 2 to 3 matches on a daily for wanting a single lewis,
i disagree… i’m mainly playing it to get the points and be done in which case bot farms are more preferable
However as another mentioned this is functionally BR2 tunisia which having populated games is nice i suppose.
If they add desertion penalties i will become one of those useless players who sit on AA gun the whole game or do nothing in the games i don’t like in which case actively griefing the team.

Desertion penalties won’t fix it when you simply have population imbalances because people dogpile onto a faction
There is a reason I constantly get stuck into damn german teams when randoming
Played 5 matches in total as of now, only lost once and even that loss amounted to almost 6000 Battle Score. People play the objectives, build rallies, spawn APC’s. Makes it a lot more fun.

Just because it’s 10 humans vs. 10 humans doesn’t mean it’s even unless they pair based on player stats.
It’s still immensely better than “normal” “matchmaking” where I play random faction BR3 and half the time it’s me + one or two people who have a clue and the rest is either worse than bots or just bots vs a strong team…or the reverse, where I randomly end up on a team where I can just take a plane out and fly in circles and we still win in like 7 minutes
Meanwhile most matches in the event are like:
Even though we lost, even though we were defending it was AWESOME. Win or lose, games are just…interesting
