The ammunition belts worn by Japanese soldiers are typically worn by cavalry and paratroopers, and are rarely seen on regular infantry. Therefore, removing them would make the scene look cooler and more historically significant.

i think they should still be there for those who want them, but I would love to have a version of this with no bandolier as it looks much better without it
