Both team should share the same fighting area, Nothing more annoying and unfair then a tank shooting from outside of the opposing team fighting bounderies. ALSO CENTER the objectives PLEASE, I find it dumb that some objectives are in the very corner of a fighting area. Making it nearly impossible to perform flank manoeuvers.

My gray zone is part my play area and your gray zone is part of yours. Your tanks and planes are supposed to deal with out of bounds enemies
And there is nothing inherently wrong with “camping”

In part yes, but also, no.
Let’s take a map with no such boundaries, without grey zone: Berlin train escort. If the defending team is particularly stronger and scummy, it’s possible for them to SURROUND the other team spawn zone. Seen that with guys spamming flamers, dousing the enemy spawn in flames.
It was such bs, that I didn’t bother and left.
I’d just make the battlefield larger, like @116344108 said (and add troop transport vehicles!!!) but keep the spawn points inside grey zones.

Typically these out of bounds vehicles are of minimal threat to objectives though. Also this prevents vehicles from being able to camp enemy spawns. You can still kill them with tanks, AT guns/squads, and planes. They’re only safe from TNT charges, really.
I noticed on Pacific maps they do have a transport truck but it’s huge and not super fast so it’s hard to navigate the windy, hilly maps. Plus it’s open top and you can already shoot through everything on those maps not to mention that the starter tanks can have their crew sniped out, so a tall truck with no protection is just exhausting.

Berlin train maps are so narrow that there’s not much room to flank. If only there are more maps like La Parelle alongside the Tunisia and Pacific maps(even though some New Georgia maps have strange grey zones).

So you can keep set spawns oob… but not tanks and AT.
Placed in the right sport an, enemy tank inna grey zone is nigh impossible to knock out… its not tactics its exploiting a setting in the game.

Have you tried it with 9 riflemen, or a smg armed squad?
It’s crazy, all your soldiers shoot at will when in a bus, Kubel or those trucks. Feels like gta when passing near an enemy, hilarious and effective sometimes.
But, theres things devs could (SHOULD) implement, like apcs, such as haltracks. Those would solve the offroad difficulties, and protecction issues.

It’s bad enough spawning into death from a constructed rally point, now you want to spawn into death at the set rally points, it will make zerg rushes into super rushes where the enemy rolls up onto the spawn points of the defenders and attackers and kill them as they spawn into the map,
I think the idea is to disable tank guns within grey area.
So they can stay there if they wanna be afk but no more exploiting the grey area.
Play the objective, and stop walking 500 meters away from your team only to spawn camp enemy tanks.

You guys gotta play big action mod…
Got everything we want (okay maybe just stuff i want.lol)…mechanized, large maps, no greyzone. light vehicles. Vehicle spawns, 40v 40, rally point transports, aa guns un nerfed, friendly fire, airfields and plenty of other suprises
Oh…and engies can build stugs and flak panzers lol
