Maps in Enlisted are too spread out. You cannot design maps for an FPS using the same logic as a vehicular combat game. Every map is basically made to favor campers — there are too many small holes and windows that people can camp in, and you cannot kill them unless you have a sniper or are blindly shooting at walls.
Some objectives are nearly impossible to capture because they are too open. I understand that Enlisted goes for semi-realistic gameplay, but you cannot design maps like that. In every match I play, there are at least 5 people camping in some small window at the corner of the map, because the map design favors defenders over attackers.
Some capture points are basically just a small house that is impossible to enter because of campers. It is far too easy to defend a point when the layout works entirely in your favor.
The core issues are:
- Maps are too open with too many small holes and windows in the walls
- Capture points are either too small or too exposed

The maps are small and full of obstacles; vehicles are the last ones to have an advantage in this game.

Isn’t that how urban battles always go? New recruit, you can use flamethrowers or tank HE grenades to shoot at buildings instead of complaining about map issues on the official forums.
I find attacking game mode more enjoyable to play vs defending. If youre having issues pushing into points just make sure you bring a strong tank to destroy other tanks and spam HE or a plane to bomb camping tanks. Usually flanking and holding the flanks helps your team/ bot squads to push the point unless the enemy team has a stacked group
The “Problems” you claimed is the sole reason I play this game. This game’s maps have flanks, depth, and quite often you’ll find both open ground and tight clutters on the same map, if anything they’re some of the best map designs I’ve seen.
You talked about getting snipped from windows or flanked but think about this: there’s nothing stopping you from learning what they did and go do the same to your enemy, and there’s literally no place that’s unflankable (un flank able), it just demands your patience and methods to solve it.
And if you really just don’t wanna do that, you always have the option of a sniper rifle or a machine gun to shut them down frontally.

I don’t mean to criticise but have u played any Berlin maps?
I mean, they don’t… again look at Berlin, playing as a tank in Berlin / Stalingrad is doable but not easy because of the amount of rubble / dead tank hulls
In your defence, u only really learn how to counter them when u learn the maps well enough. Generally though, as a rule, u try avoid running out in the open else risk having a stray shell or sniper take down ur squad.
Idk about this one… there are so many maps, with the right rallies and overwhelming force, attackers can absolutely steam roll. This is map / team specific, and I have been in matches where I have held off overwhelming force and defended against them
I appreciate u making the post, and I can tell this issue has annoyed u, but I would honestly suggest going back to basics for a bit, maybe a lower BR, learn map design a bit and it would help u counter annoying players. Also to note, after an update sweaty players come back, so bare this in mind
