The Data breach a few months ago where some of us had statisics removed, I wonder did that hacker get my info?
I actially had Pshing scam on some of my accounts, even reddit last week. I wonder now since it was noted Enliated/Gaijian be relaxed with data if it was there fault. Can players sue a company if its true. Given international HQ it maybe hard to do, IDK. Steam however could take action and also Playstaion and Microsoft. Even mastercard for that matter can stop payments. Should someone ɓe fired for this? Before you mods think about taking this post down, its your data also. Think about it.
Well I would be worried that the KGB now gonna sell my data to the Russian black market but then i remember I signed Temu terms and conditions so its a bit too late for me:
company can get sued if they didnt adequately protect the data(e.g. patching known vulnerabilities or not keeping to some industry standards). they can also get sued if they didnt disclose hacks to authorities or if they didnt disclose high risk breach to affected customers(e.g. card info getting leaked).
even if company had highest level security and had patches deployed in minutes after they became available, they cant protect servers from hacks. just in last year or two i have seen numerous zero day vulnerabilities(Top 20 Most Exploited Vulnerabilities of 2025) and even state sponsored agents leaving backdoor in really important open source projects for linux based distros(XZ Utils backdoor - Wikipedia).

You joke but it was a russian hacker that stole my PS account for a day. Took 500 bucls from me but PS gave that money back. He got into my Reddit and tried hard fro microsoft.
The OP is linking unrelated things here and there is false information - the issue with statistics being removed has absolutely nothing to do with what you’re referring to or any “hacker”. Statistics and/or Battle Pass issues were a result of the profile servers going down for a period of time (hence, players’ “profiles” were affected), but were brought back by our OPS team.
Not sure if the OP is insinuating this, but we do not engage in “phishing”.
