Engineer vehicles

Add vehicles for engineer squads. Engineers will continue to engineer and the ‘others’ will not. So give us vehicles that can be used by the team to not only replenish building materials but to resupply the engineers equipment. Each vehicle allows an engineer to replenish his materials AND equipment (bags, wire, hedgehogs etc) 3 times. Thus the engineer inclined player who is always on his own when laying wire, traps, hogs, ammo boxes, guns and of course a rally when on invasion mode defend will be able to resupply using the vehicle before the vehicle must be resupplied (respawned).

Not only will this delight the current crop of engineer-minded players, it will inspire other players to use engineer squads and for the first time defence-invasion mode will actually feel like an immersive hold the point experience where the objective is the point of this mode. It isnt ‘charge out to their front line and stop them advancing’ mode. It is hold the point mode. defend the point mode. So, defend the point guys using engineers and THEN move out if possible. I am not suggesting ten of ten players use engineers but only TWO players use the engineer squads (with the new supply vehicles) while the rest of the team hold off the enemy.

Also, these vehicles are not APC so can be parked anywhere, including inside the CP (probably somewhere safer).

One must remember that when something new is introduced it is not just oneself that is playing. One must ask how this new inclusion will affect the overall battle, and how the enemy will respond to these vehicles? I assume they will target them as they target rallies because 30 pieces of barbed wire instead of 10 will be just as annoying as my ampulomet…

Defend the point. It is only one mode but it occurs as frequently as others. Very frustrating being the only player who makes it difficult for the enemy by laying wire etc. Every time i am the only one who engineers. two is all it takes to secure the point. And it is only ever one at most. I assume those in clans with comms are using engineers when on defend mode…hmmm?

I see a more practical solution allow engineers to see the point that comes next so they can build defenses while defending in invasion and show the attacking team’s engineers regions where little fighting is happening so they can safely put rally points there and help the team push closer.

You know what engineers could have? The ability to refill materials at their tank resupply point.

Engineer exhausts his materials, runs back to the resupply point, refills his materials, runs back.
