Engineer are useful first of all for rally, i knew the mine trick but not this one take a look.
Well… it’s all about buildind wires all around the ennemy’s rally and get plenty of building assist at the spawn you can do this on the ennemy path also.
The wire should never close the path or the door at 100%. you need to leave a little bit open. Players will pass but his bots will die in it.
Or instead you should stack in on out side on the enemy’s side so they either run through the door or stand in the open trying to shoot thought it, you should alway use wire to funnel enemys into kill zones via blocking access to cover not block paths, as players will dismantwith a 100% guarentee
Try and use tank traps on the road and leave a gap on the edge big enough for a tank to get though but place a mine in the gap, the tank corpse will plug the gap

I agree engineer is really great gameplay and so creative instead of assault or tank, pilot gameplay where it’s aiming, flying, driving which is also very enjoyable you have to multiple options while playing the engineer.
