In the past we where used to use the enemy ammo box crates for refill in an emergency when we capture from a corpse a weapon from the enemy, however I am not sure when, you can only do it once and then it will says “you can’t refill from an enemy box” and it’s a bit dumb, it’s enemy weapon, no matter how many times you refill it, you should be able to refill it OR in case, make you can do on your ammo box too, because OH SURPRISE, you can’t because it’s enemy weapon, it’s absurd!

I’d say just refilling on enemy boxes for enemy weapons. It makes more sense than having US boxes refill weapons that they shouldn’t have ammo for.

that’s why I suggest bring it back, it’s stupid after 1 refill you can’t anymore refill it because it says “you can’t use the enemy ammo box”, why?,unless you are going to allow me do it with our ammo box, it’s a stupid way to nerf use enemy dropped weapons

Balance-wise, the devs probably want to prevent high-tier scavenging from ruining lower-tier matches or whatever (you get the point), but the current one-refill cap is a lazy solution. A better balance would be letting us use the enemy boxes infinitely like you suggested, but perhaps making ‘Foreign Weapons’ reload slower or have higher recoil to simulate a soldier using unfamiliar gear. That way, you can live off the land in an emergency, but it doesn’t become the meta strategy for the whole match.
