Temperature -40 and even lower. Recently he had to go back home for a week cause the forecast was -55C.

Davay!
Join the US? Or “us” as in “we”?
USA entered WW2 in December 1941.
USSR had already been fighting Germany since June 1941 and participating in WW2 cheeki-breeki style since 1939.
i said joined the war only after it was attacked
you know the small mutual attack of poland by germany the ussr
invasion of finland twice
joining the war in the pacific only in 1945
i just think its funny how the us gets bad mouthed for joining the war not in 1939 but 1941 in europe
while uss joined europe in 1941 and 1945 in asia
UK is the kind of frind every country should have
By “cheeki breeki” you mean waiting until Germs do their job on the western side of Vistula River? ![]()
Despite being Russian, I’m not even denying USSR’s friendship with Germany in 1939-40.
Hell, Molotov even initially agreed to join the Axis if Soviet interestes were to be satisfied.
I don’t think US gets bad mouthed for WW2 at all, they helped everyone they could with hear and fought themselves battles far away from their homeland.
However, that doesn’t negate the fact that Leningrad was a key WW2 event with way too many thousands of civilian casualties, unfortunately. Not without blame on Soviet leadership part either.
But nevertheless it was still a symnbol of Soviet people’s resolve.
I am of the opinion Stalin was all too happy to see Capitalists fight against each other and then loot the goodies afterwards, that’s what I mean by 1930s cheeki breeki Soviet foreign policy.
(and yes also take back the Russian Empire lands and some more together with whoever helps do that)
Nothing of what you mentioned played out like that. In fact, most modern history is fake. Read Devil’s Chessboard by David Talbot as a starter, and then jump down the rabbit hole—if you dare. Maybe then you’ll start to realize who fought whom and for what. Ordinary people from different nations fought each other for nothing.
the statement was the most important battle in ww2, i said if limited to western front top 5
of all ww2 battles all fronts top 10
i never said ussr was not important
europe powers ww2
1 ussr
2 us
3 uk/commonwealth
asia ww2
1 us
2 uk
3 ussr
ww2 all theaters much harder raw combat power tanks and soldier cannons ussr
navy and air force us
of course us was also a crucial supplier
but i will bow to the industry the bravery of the ussr
I do wonder if the rewards are lacking, or i am just a spoiled brat that plays premium.
@fabrottt Please post in English only in this forum.
If you require the Russian forum, you can find it here:
I dont think the US gets bad mouthed because it joined late but because every other obnoxious american keeps claimimg that it was america alone that defeated the nazis and then thanks to the american education system actually believe that.
The funnies part about WW1 is that the US couldnt even at first decide if they even should join at all or just sit it out until it got dragged into it.
So much for being the great liberator and savoir of the free world…
Wow, they didn’t even round up the days, I’m surprised. The amount of information would be enough for a historical article! And the awards, phew, the event squads aren’t even close to being as good.

They remembered, *****, five years later, without even posting on social media before.
Thank you, ****, from the bottom of my heart, *****
Not including Germany shows your resentment
I think he meant Allied nations.
Anyway I was considering joining in on the discussion at first, but seeing people twist objective history to their subjective ideological views… I will just a little break from the forum instead.
Probably for the best.
