This goes without saying, I dont even know if it’s a bug right now, but if it WAS intentional it really needs to be undone.
Cooking them is part of the game, something everyone is accustomed to right now. By removing the indicators youv just opened the doors to insane grenade spam.
Also if it’s due to people whining about tanks running, that is what cooking it is for. A guy taking out a tank on the ground is supposed to be a dangerous risky task.
I haven’t noticed their absence… Were you playing lone soldier?
Nope. Been playing squads.
Mmmh. Gotta check that again this evening. I’m so used just earing other soldiers shouting: граната!!! That I instantly vacate the room I’m in when I hear it. I might not have noticed it’s absence.
the grenade will usually go in the direction that the left thumb is
I think he meant the indicator when an enemy grenade is thrown, used to be redish orange. I’m just so used to scram when I see an enemy throwing one that I’m not even sure if that indicator did indeed disappear.
i just realized it meant active grenades which i’m pretty sure it’s still active

yea I noticed it too. In my opinion, its a good change. Makes it easier to nade tanks, especialy fast ones like puma or stuart. Im may be brough back for infantry thou, game is rather arcade, so indicator wouldnt hurt. But for tanks, there should be no indicator, thats the whole fun, that you have little knowlage about your surroundings, indicators are against that.

they were so important that i didnt even noticed them missing since the last update. or the previous one .
for me , they can stay this way, for others, a option to enable or disable the indicator could solve it.

I actually kind of agree with this. The more i’v played I do find it useful for tanks, its a love hate. I like it when im on the ground, I hate it in tanks. But i’l probably adjust over time and already am somewhat. This post is largely due to me just not liking change when iv grown accustomed to something and learned to work around it.

Grenade indicators are an acceptable boost to the senses for the infantry in my opinion, since we don’t have natural ~170° peripheral vision ingame.
Tanks shouldn’t have them, though. We are sitting in a noisy box with small vision slots. It is very unlikely to notice a grenade under these conditions, unless you see it being thrown at you.
It’s not too dificult to avoid grenades in a tank even without indicators.
- Don’t get close to infantry, unless you can keep them right in front of your gun.
- If that is not possible because of the terrain for example, just assume they are trying to throw tnt at you at all times, which isn’t far from the truth anyway. Keep moving, don’t stand still for more than 3 seconds.

No thanks, removing those indicators is a good thing, especially when dealing with tanks.
I found it’s created a kind of 50/50 when it comes to dealing with tanks. Due to the indicators tanks used to run the moment they saw the indicator leaving to a need to really cook it so they didnt even have a chance to move, all they got was the symbol and a split second to go “SH#T!” then boom.
While it makes it easier to not cook a pack and blow up a tank, its also made it harder in that a little over half of tank drivers are far more paranoid now and never stop moving.
I see both points and how each version (indicator on/off) are useful and have they’re own individual drawbacks. Personally I still prefer the indicators as I grew used to them and think we should have them at least for infantry since i’v noticed significant grenade-spam on objective since enemies can grenade allies in other rooms on capture points with no negative consequences.
The comeback I come up with to that is “Kill them from off the point first” which is viable due to, in some campaigns anyhow, the ability to wall-bang enemies which SO MANY PEOPLE don’t take advantage of. I mean it’s made me Love the AT rifle in moscow because I can track an enemy in a wooden house like their in a field and fire to hit a moving target going behind a wall just pretending the house aint even here and WHAM! (Yeah personell kills with AT rifle aint the most effective use of time, but man is is fun) Ok i’m rambling so i’l stop here lol.
Hope your having fun, take care!
