Well, this is a problem we’ve had in Enlisted since the game’s inception, and it’s become more prevalent since 2022, especially with German weapons being the most affected by this mechanic That it is not implemented correctly
-There are machine guns like the MG34/42/131 stationed These machine guns have an excessive overheating problem Where they fire for less time than their counterparts when in reality they could fire for longer without having the Excessive overheating that they have
The Japanese Heavy MG also suffers from this problem even with its low cadence.
The Kugelblitz has just suffered this misfortune where it can barely fire continuously due to excessive overheating
The best solution would be to eliminate this or fix it to avoid harming weapons that are already suffering from this limitation.
There are weapons that really need to fire a good number of bullets continuously in order to overheat and stop firing. But in Enlisted it’s the opposite; the MG42 barely fires less than 30 bullets and overheats excessively, whereas in reality, for that to happen, it would have to fire 250-300 bullets Continuously
Also in the machine guns of tanks/tank destroyers, APCs, automatic cannons, and stationary light/heavy machine guns
I don’t know if there are other weapons besides the ones I’ve mentioned that suffer from this problem, so please mention them.
Given this, how should the solution to this problem be implemented?
- Remove this game mechanic
- Maintaining and repairing this mechanic
- Not fixing the problem
