Effort within writing News posts

Can we all admire how we got more information in an April Fool’s News post: Catchy weapons for bright personalities! - News - Enlisted

Compared to a News post for the next update, which could ultimately ruin the game for a large portion of the playerbase:

Firstly, an April fools event is easy to write about, they can dump as much information into it as much as they want to, it’s April Fools, it’s not serious and not meant to be taken seriously.

Secondly, the new BR system, they gave us a lot of information, and asked specifically if there are any balance concerns. Meaning they don’t want to overload everyone with loads of information because they, unsurprisingly, want peoples concerns on balancing…

It’s not going to ruin the game in any way shape or form…

The distance between the new news post and the one they link to is 4 months and 6 days. That’s over a quarter of a year. Yet the new post is literally just stating that they took some of our ideas and are trying to gather more complaints, which they either will or will not do anything with.

Oh yes, an update that’s so controversial that with each News post, there’s criticism by a substantial portion of people for different reasons. Surely if they mess this up bad, no one will leave and there’d be no chance the game could die.

You have the CBT thing next to your username, how can you trust them so much when core features are still broken?
