I think Enlisted would really benefit from allowing players to customise some of the macro chat buttons. Even RobB0x has editable emoji;s… Its about time…
At the moment, the predefined messages are quite limited, and because bots also use similar lines, they often get ignored or treated as background noise.
It would be useful if players could set a few short tactical messages, for example:
- “Attack left side”
- “Defend right flank”
- “Enemy tank near objective”
- “Need rally point”
- “Group on objective”
- “Stop rushing, defend point”
This could improve coordination, especially for players who do not use voice chat or are playing with random teams.
To prevent spam or abuse, the custom messages could have limits:
- short character limit
- cooldown timer
- profanity filter
- limited number of custom slots
I think this would make quick chat more practical and help separate real player communication from bot chatter.
