In light of recent posts from former employees of Gaijin, we probably give devs some slack for events . There are easy ways to make events to keep players happy with minimal work, while allowing more time for devs to work on things like fixing bugs in the game, working on new maps and campaigns, and updates. My ideas are:

  1. Using old Legacy squads as a template, make changes too them like giving them different weapons like in the reward chest, changing outfit cosmetics or even a reskin. Keeps post merge players happy with access to Legacy stuff and pre-merge players happy with new stuff.
  2. Porting over new Event vehicles from War Thunder…can even include a squad. There are many additions that can still be brought over including tanks, planes, apcs and mobile AA. Some might complain, I won’t.
  3. Giving rewards like camo skins that are for 250 gold, or the unique decals there…easy 3 stage mini event where there are 4 tasks in 2 days, 3 times.
  4. The easiest is bring back gold orders or at least the blue tickets to give the player a choice from a pool of items. Players LOVE the choice of faction, BR and type.
  5. Like the April Fool’s event, hand out unique accessories or uniform pieces like masks, or camo, etc.
  6. Incorporate the WWI map permanently into the game, it was too good to waste.
  7. Adding ammo or buffing/nerfing event weapons from the TT so they can be used on other BRs.

These ideas can easily be done since most of it is already made and coded. You can easily make themed events for all sorts of anniversaries. After the mess of what was posted, Gaijin needs to realize that it is the PAYING players who make you money, good will to ALL the player base is what gets F2P player to convert to PAYING ones…devs make this happen…maybe some business or economics classes will help you understand. Then devs can focus on:

  1. Fixing the bugs!
  2. New maps.
  3. Incorporating WWI into the game…you just had a great start.
  4. Adding new sub-factions and unique squads.
  5. New mechanics or tweaks to the ideas from the forum that helpers have sent to devs or managers have said it’s being worked on…including fixing complaints.

Remember - there are FOUR factions, some need more help then others…same for the 5 BRs.

Would you be ok with this if it further developed the game?

I think there should be minimum of one small event over every weekend (Friday-Sunday) this event could just be simple tasks with small rewards like swords, event/old battlepass weapons/vehicles and the usual silver and appearance orders ect.

They only have to look at the timeline of ww2 to find the inspiration for these events. They can base them around even minor battles on different fronts while saving big key anniversaries for larger major events that run all month.

Trust me, there is a non-stop list of anniversaries, new weapon introduction, achievements when you look at it from all factions…a loss for one means a win for another.
