Just heard some Apex legends pro and steamer have gotten hack into and had cheats install into their PC. If you didn’t know, Apex Legends uses the same anti-cheat system as Enlisted.
Some report suggest that, there is a exploit being used via Easy anti-cheat to install software into someone’s PC
Question for the devs
Is easy anti cheat compromised?
Is it safe to play Enlisted right now?
Do I have to uninstall all game that have easy anti-cheat to be safe?

Yes I get it. but I think this is a bigger issue about being hacked into and melware being installed into your PC because of easy anti-cheat

If you want to win that badly just play in a 4stack.

cause he wasnt cheating. he just has tick in his hand that instantly snaps to enemy. 
you are talking about different things. he quoted EAC dev about about remote exploit hack. you are probably talking about EAC actually being effective at its job.
if we are purely talking about chances of someone remote installing cheat through EAC on someones computer vs that streamer actually installing that cheat themselves and doing something he noticed that might get him detected in tournament, i know where i would bet.

RU forum were on to it a few days ago, i believe, and when, what happen to them, and then it happened to me, i wanted to post evidence, but thread removed.

They were saying this DC thing was related to some using RCE to screw games?.
from what i see that had nothing to do with RCE. players from both teams were disconnected. this would sooner be DDoS or just simply servers having issues without anyone there to fix the problem.

also it would sooner be used in more nefarious purposes (like stealing your banking info) than just disconnecting you from server.

someone who can compromise your system through vulnerability in EAC for RCE would need serious knowledge and wouldnt make it widely available for kids to ruin that vulnerability just for a game.
these kind of exploits would be used either for setting up botnet and/or getting all your data from various sites (your accounts/passwords/tokens) or they would sell them on darknet for others to exploit them.
if it is true that there is RCE in EAC then this could be one of the biggest hacks in history cause it could affect hundreds of millions of computers (with almost full access to them).
btw for comparison DDoS is super easy to make. you can easily find out IP of game servers (e.g. from your firewall) and you can rent DDoS attack on that IP.
