If they really intend to continue with this game, they’re going to have to stop all the events, skins, and things and seriously start thinking about what to do with this game.
I log into the game once every two days and I have to quit at least four or five matches to be able to play a single decent one, regardless of the br level. Either you get a match completely full of bots, or your team completely ignores you and behaves worse than bots.
I know people like to constantly switch br and that this kind of “rating” system exists, but this is going to kill the game. It’s four campaigns with five different br for only 40 people playing it every day… They’ll have to change something.
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, ERASE THAT DAMN CONQUEST MODE
The majority of people alredy left the Game the rest is either playing just a few games per day on different hours and servers or on the event which idk why ppl grind for it… Tbh is not Even a fair event to spend time on
I don’t think they like to switch BR’s at all. I think they have to switch to keep their sanity. BR 2 is virtually welded to BR 3 now. I have played 8 games at BR 2 today and every one of them was an uptier. I refuse to play at BR3 or above because it is nothing but SMG and Assault rifle spamming. Not too long ago, I changed everything back to BR1 and it looks like I will have to again. As far as mindless teammates go, well, I’m not sure why anyone would ever expect 20 random people to work together as team when most games incentivize mini task over teamwork anyhow. The scoring in this game is stupid in that you do more to help the team than just get the most kills and come dead last everytime.
I’ve pretty much just resigned myself to playing in my own custom match games. I get to pick my map, pick my mode (both seemingly ignored by the Dev’s with their BS preferred crap since I am always stuck in the mode I chose NOT to play). I get all bots, however they actually build rally points, and I get to choose how many bots for and against along with the strength of the bots. Other then winning pretty much all the time, I don’t have to deal with all the crap you get in the general game mode.
General game mode starts off with a map or mode that was not included amongst your preferred choices, followed up by human team mates that don’t try and capture, don’t try and defend, don’t build rally points, ect. ect. ect. Some of those things the Dev’s can control, some they can’t.
All I hear from everyone on this forum is that Enlisted is dead in the water. Personally I have a great time playing this game. Ok it has it’s pros and cons but over all it is fun. Look here at Steams player count for today, is it really bad? I don’t think so.
And yet, 7-8 out of every 10 games are either completely or partially with bots on both teams, often even in an unbalanced way.
Those 4,000 people are spread across br, campaigns, and games already in progress. That’s still far too few compared to what it should be to be optimal.
This game, at 5 years old, doesn’t even compete against a duck that’s been on the market for 1 months.
Surely it depends on what time of day that you are playing? If I am playing on a weekday afternoon I expect to have a lower human player base. If I am playing at 9 P.M. in the evening I find every game much more challenging. The game cant be super fantastic all of the time, surely? It would be great if it was
The point I am making is that, every time I come on the Enlisted forum, it’s a miserable experience, there is nothing happy to read from most of you . I am sure I will get told to just push off, but do think of the new players coming into the game, and how down beat they must feel reading all the constant , negative posts towards a game that they maybe enjoying.
Not very impressive since Steam numbers are about as good as during second Steam release one year ago.
3k players on average also isnt much when you consider that you have four factions with 2 BR queues for Japan and four BR queues for SU, Axis and Allies across three servers plus custom servers.
And if preference list would actuallly work, you would have even more queue issues.
I am very sorry but you not find many people telling new players to spend 100 bucks and 100 hours for a game they do not enjoy anymore. Or should these people lie?
But also funny that these awful people spend more time with the forum and community than Mister White Knight with his 456 posts in the last three years.
As for 100 bucks… Personally I have only spent about 40 euro in the last 3-4 years I have been playing the game. The grind doesn’t bother me, and i’m sure it does’t bother most people. Just come on and have fun. Buck up people and stop moaning all the time. Post your opinions to better our game, surely that’s better than continually whinging all the time?
Because a game that is so unbalanced and full of bots or worse players is not fun.
But what’s even more infuriating is that the game itself has incredible potential, potential that the devs don’t want to polish, and as for why people complain instead of suggesting, it’s because suggesting doesn’t work.
The game still has bugs from 3 years ago; it took a year and a half to fix the screen freezing problems, a week and a half ago a bug appeared that “zooms in” on the letters and they still haven’t fixed it, the technical support is completely incompetent and on the forum they delete any post that tells the devs the truth about the game.
So, this is what happens when people like the game, but find it unbearable to play and the devs don’t respond or do anything about it.
I’ve been playing the game for 4 out of 5 years and a developer only answered me once, and he never responded to my answer to his question.
Can I make a suggestion, as regards unfixed bugs within the game? Instead of having players coming on the forum, complaining one by one, every now and again, stating why hasn’t this been fixed etc. etc. Why don’t we get together and compile say a top 10 list of bugs that should be priority for the Dev’s to sort out? Could we pin this list to the top of the forum, so that it is right there in their faces ? I mean, after every major update we hear the Dev’s saying that they have listened to the player base and fixed this and that. Well if we have our most needed problems, set out in a list, right in front of them, surely they have to notice and take some action, right? Well I’d hope so anyway lol. At least it would be something from the Enlisted community, as a whole, exactly stating what we want.
Twitch also made 5 statements saying they listen to the community, and 3 Doritos later they make even worse mistakes xD
DF said they fixed bugs that are still there, they released patch notes claiming grenades break windows when they don’t, and so on and so forth… I think you live in a bubble.
