Duck truck 🦆

If you’ve ever had the d-day loading screen when you login you might have noticed a little something in the back of the image:

This truck is called the DUKW it was a ww2 transport truck which could swim, here is a clearer image of it:

I think this vehicle would fit very nicely into Enlisted, especially since it’s already in a loading screen.

Potential stats:

Speed: 50mph on land and 6mph in water

Capacity: 24 troops and 1 driver

Battle rating: 2

Do you want to see the DUKW added?

Thanks I always wanted to know what that was.

there aren’t many places to use such a vehicle.

but it’s cool regardless and would make for a fine addition as an event / premium APC.
even better in mods.

( i’d say event, but most amphibious vehicles are premium. except one of the japanese tanks. )

p.s. how do you make your poll having public votes on display?

True, but since paying players can get the premium lvt APC, f2p players should be allowed to experience the same thing.

Put this instead of the first part of the poll code:

[poll type=regular results=always public=true chartType=bar]

Why not make it a BR3.0 APC in the tech tree and give it a machine gun? There were armed versions with a .50cal Machine gun (wiki says 1 in 4 vehicles were armed in an assault formation), to support the landing troops.
I find it weird that Enlisted jumped directly to heavy tanks, but didn’t put extra vehicles like APCs, halftracks and armored cars as tech tree unlockable vehicles.

Br3 would be too high even if it had a 50cal, for example the soviet premium M3 half track has more armour and a 50cal, but the soviet M3 is only br2. So I wouldn’t mind if the DUKW truck got a 50cal mg but it should still be br2.

Honestly, I would move all of the armed transport vehicles to BR3.0. I think it would bring more balance to the game and the BR system, while the unarmed versions are sitting at BR2.0. The Japanese premium one is more deadly, since it mounts 3 MGs and can wipe out squads in a well-executioned assault before you can fire back.
