Drip check (any nation)

Ah same, while playing as Soviets in Moscow and obliterating Germans with a single gold order PPD every time I decided to try some hardcore with Axis on Stalingrad. The bolties everywhere were making it really chill and atmospheric. Like I remember spicing up things with having All quiet on the Western Front and Frostpunk playlist mixed with occassional Stalingrad - Massengrab hah

Tunisia was actually my favourite because even when under equipped I was still good enough to sometimes change the outcome and let my team win, I was playing as Axis there.
Felt like I was the only one newbie who cared about rally points and AAs
It was also really fun to beat stronger players with well planned ambushes or sniping them out with Beretta lasers haha

Now every map feels the same

I can just imagine lying in a bush with a sniper G43 on D-Day…

No T20 spam, no Hyde44, just tommy guns, MG42s, and Kar98ks…

Now I need to make mods to get a historical experience like that :sob:

Also, not exactly “drip”, but I really wanted to assemble a British infantry squad with these weapons:

The problem was that I don’t have any British Riflemen squads from pre-merge, all of them are American.

Since I can’t have Brodie helmets on an infantry squad, and I didn’t want to have American M1 helmets on them, I decided to take one of the American riflemen squads, give them caps/hats and British backpacks and gear, and changed them all to British nationality of course:

US Troops should definetly have access to M1917A1 helmets in both the Pacific and in Tunisia.

Might make me actually be alright with using more US squads in my lineups, if that becomes the case. I already like making alt-history setups, like my Imperial German company inspired by the world of Kaiserreich, a mixed Canadian + New England company would be interesting too.

Tommy guns were actually very rare since they were unlocked at the very end of the campaign. You would most likely run into grease guns or sten/lanchester. Mg 42 was also rare and most people just had breda mod 30

Level 29, if I’m not mistaken. And at this level, if I’m not mistaken, the Sturmgewehr was unlocked for the Axis. Or maybe not at this level, but along with the following American Thompson.

The appearance of the Thompson .30 Carbine in the event was a real miracle for me! I could finally play with the Thompson in Normandy. (Only I had to use my imagination and forget that it doesn’t fire .45 ACP) And once I’d unlocked the real Thompson, I transferred all the .30s to the Pacific. I didn’t have time to unlock the real Thompsons there, the merger happened.

By the way, in Tunisia, as far as I remember, the Thompson was unlocked at level 14.

Yes tunisia thompson was very early which allowed me to unlock it before merge. Kinda funny how m1a1 was counterpart to mp 40 in tunisia but in normandy it was unlocked at same level as zk 383

I hope the developers will allow us to buy old units from the company’s time. I want to get an American mortar squad, I don’t want to give the British mortar squad American mortars.

I wonder if anyone managed to assemble a proper Vichy France squad yet?
