Downgrading the BR level of all submachine guns make the game returnning to its original planning ideas

it could be balanced with limiting the number of assault squads carried.
In fact, this modification is necessary, as submachine guns and assault rifles have lost their significance in the existing BR rules.
In addition, many weapon BRs adjustments can also follow this approach to change the status quo that only the powerfulest have value in appearing when many weapons are stacked in the same BR and enter the same BR competition.
It’s ironic that assault rifles are not as powerful as automatic rifles that regular infantry can equip in the same BR.

Assault rifle use less powerful ammunition than automatic rifles, that literally why they are considered as a different kind of weapon.

So~assault squads can be deleted in high-level BR now.Because their cost-effectiveness is too low

I mean not ammunition

No.

No they havent.

While the AVT40 / FG arent exactly “hard to handle” they are still far from being easy as stg44 / as44.
They have theyr place in the game.

At this point, statistics are needed to show all.I bet the number of times carried guns and assault rifles is less than one-third of that of automatic rifles in the BR3-BR5 competition. The number of times used for killing enemy is even less than one tenth

do bring the statistics then

Dont think BR3 even has access to assaul rifles, even tho Mkb42 could just as well be BR3 its so shit.

Well unless you have some statistics your arguments are just guessing.

Automatic rifles generally do not have the ammo reserves or magazine capacity for a sustained firefight, in exchange for having controllability and the power of rifle caliber bullets.

M2 Carbines are the exception.

Assault rifles are useful because they are controllable and have generous ammunition reserves, in exchange for not having the ability to kill in 1 shot.

Federovs are the exception.

You can expect non-assaulter squads to fight, but not to the extent possible with assaulters and gunners.
